i have 4 atm debit cards and none of them give a fair rate. either they charge fees for every ATM withdrawal or they take a 2-3%.

Can anyone recommend a bank that i cant sign up with online that will not charge a fee or take a percentage? i tried usaa but its for members of the us military only.

How do I make sure that I am going to receive the highest exchange rate possible?

Is there someway that I can get a receipt or contract from the bank stating that I will receive a certain exchange rate? Do I have to worry about my US Bank trying to charge my some percentage the way they charge a 2% fee on my ATM withdrawals in Thailand?

Is it possible to initiate this transaction from Thailand? Do I call my bank on the phone?

if i were to physically exhange $100 bills I would get 3472 baht/$100 bill with these rates, is that correct?

Thai people really adore children, and I think all women all over the world naturally love children, but it is always kind of funny to me to see the way Thai men love children. If there is a kid on the skytrain, you see all the Thai men around smiling and looking at it. Western men seem much less smiley and "isnt that such an adorable kid" then Thai males. Even Thai male adolescents seem to have a genuine appreciation of young children. Has anyone else noticed this?
