Are farangs who marriages failed in the West luckier than those who marriages were successful? You go out in Bangkok and you see a 55 year old guy dressed in beach attire riding the skytrain with his twenty-two year old wife, and then you see another set of farang 55 year old husband and wife and she looks like she weighs 80 kg. So doesnt this mean that the farang who drank too much and wrecked his marriage back home and escaped to Thailand is luckier than the farang who didnt drink too much and is still married?

I dont agree with everything Mark says, but this does ring true. Farang sure do walk with their chins high in Thailand. I get the feeling its the first time many of them have ever been respected in their lifes, or atleast Thais pretend to be respect. Honestly, one of the weirdest thing about Thailand is how much they look up to farang, and i dont think its just because they have the money. there is a general idea that farang are something special and better.

they make their money by selling you the set. just order the muffin by itself if you are counting your baht.

i have 4 atm debit cards and none of them give a fair rate. either they charge fees for every ATM withdrawal or they take a 2-3%.

Credit unions also tend to be good choices if you're eligible for one or can find one that has open membership.

its not possible to search bank of internet on thai visa because of is less than 4 letters and searching bank or internet will get a million responses.

Can someone tell me if the next Thai Constitution will allow for free education for Thai children up to age 18? I cant think of a reason why any country on this planet would not have free education.
