  1. A farang bar opens in Nakhon Sawan!!!!

Called confuZion, it occupies what was previously a Japanese buffet place, on the quieter side of the lake at the "Dragon" end, more or less opposite The Walk on the other side.

Still in a soft opening phase, it offers decent pricing for an aircon bar, i.e. large beers at 80 baht, except Heineken at 95, JW Red scotch at 60 baht a measure and the Black at 80.

Decor above average to attract the better off Thai, Thai and Western food available also at reasonable prices and good gear it is too.

Not sure whether it is UK or USA owned, possibly a bit of both. Best of luck to them, so far it seems their investment will pay off.

    Or Wales... smile.png

It is same building as Sripina Apartment.

Downstair comfy sofas, couple of tables and bar, upstairs one pool table, darts and CTH for EPL.

Some books too to borrow/lend/swap(?), not sure how it works

    And beer lao...

  2. H/M like many other has been waiting for an update on what is happening at the end of the By-Pass but as usual nothing bugger all from you lot.

Well H/M has found out seems that they are building a over pass to Pitso and all route's/Rout's northish via the By-Pass so as to cut out N/S town.

What joy it'll be for you Mob to have less traffic, bit of a bummer though if you have just opened a shop there as that also means less peeps spending monies.

You just don't remember. I gave link with map and pictures and You even answered for my post

  3. Getting back to back 30 day visa exempt entries by air has no limits.

Doing border crossings back to back for exempt entries (15 or 30 days dependent upon nationality) do have limits imposed at many border crossings. It varies from 3, 4, 5 or none.

I cannot see how doing them could be less costly than making a trip out of the country for a two entry tourist visa.

OP don't wrote where he lives/want to live. If near Malaysian border or example Mae Sai/Mae Sot and if he gets 30 days by land, then it would be much less.

  4. Where you can find good massage in Nakhon Sawan? There were 2 good place near busstation but those are now full of 18yo iphone teenagers who only want give you happy oil massage. Just need someone to work on my back and shoulders.

Meanwhile caretaker Transport Minister Chadchat Suttipun said Tuesday that the accident happened at the downhill stretch which the Highway Department has improved it to “climbing lane” with a three-lane traffic.

He said the bus driver attempted to overtake another car at the curve, but skidded off the road.

  6. 4th month and speed was capped again to 64Kbps. But now true admits that it is indeed capped by them, not anymore some bullshit for shared speed. Here their email. I have used 4-5 GB data everymonth, no more. No bittorrent and no downloads. Like to know what is this datacap when 384 will reduced to 64, never got answer for that

We do apologize for the delay in responding.

Further to e-mail, after checking out your number we found the 3G usage is over 3G usage allowance from package than usual, which is within the scope of 3G misuse such packages such as downloading via Bit Torrent by connecting from mobile phones or air cards. This misusage impacts other customers in the nearby areas, causing about 98% of the customers slow speed in joining 3G. Then, TrueMoveH needs to properly manipulate the misused behaviors for the benefit of most of our customers. That is the reason why your 3G speed connection was reduced respectively.

Thus, if you would like to resume your 3G connection speed, you can activate a data topping for use, which you can check available packages on http://hlife.truecorp.co.th/

  8. Now here is some big news for Nakhon Sawan lovers, KFC will soon not be alone! In the june to september time there will be a DRIVE THROUGH McDONALDS at V Square, that the BIG C on the north side of the bridge, that expands lunchtime a bit in several ways eh!

I am also imformed that there is or will be a drive through McDonalds at a PTT station just south of the by pass to accomodate northern folks who are to unsure of driving through the Heavenly City, so keep em peeled and see if you spot this one.

McDonalds in V Square too? They are building one where old Esso was, near busstation.

  10. They accept the fact that there are a lot of people are staying here long term on tourist visas. The only thing that don't want is people working here illegally on tourist visas..That is why they ask for proof of funds coming into the country from abroad.

They ask for a bank book because that is what they know best because banks here don't do statements for savings accounts.. But they will accept a bank statement.

What is this: "banks here don't do statements for savings accounts"

I don't get any for the 3 I have. You can ask and pay to have one printed out or print one out from online banking.

IN other places in the world they mail them to you.

Some other places maybe, not my bank in my homecountry, only online. So that's why I was stunned, I thought You mean online statement is not available.
