Just a quick update: As of February 14th, 2023, this is the documentation that I needed to present at Savannakhet. (Appling for a Non Imm. 0 based on marriage 1 year multi entry visa) Filled In Application Form Two Passport photos Passport Copy of your Passport Copy of your Laos Visa Copy of your Thai Spouse ID Copy of your Thai Spouse Passport (If they have one) Copy of your Spouse Thai ID Card Copy of the Marriage Certificate Copy of your Thai Spouse Tabian Baan (Blue house registration book) If you have Children with your Thai Spouse: Copy of your Childs Passport (If they have one) Copy of your Childs Thai ID Card (If they have one) Copy of your Childs Thai Tabian Baan page (Blue house registration book) Copy of your Childs Birth Certificate Show the original Marriage Certificate Show the original Childs Birth Certificate 5000B for a Multi Entry The process was straightforward. If you have all the required documents, it only takes a couple of minutes to submit your application at the window. I arrived at 8:15am and was there until around 10am. The line was quite big by 8:30am. No financial information was requested when applying.

I'm going to apply for my Non Imm O marriage/family Multi entry one year visa at Savannakhet on Feb 16. 2023. Do I need to make an appointment or just show up? It doesn't seem I need one but I just want to double check. I don't want to get there and find out I needed one. Has anyone recently applied at Savannakhet for this type of visa? Was it pretty easy? Did you have to show money in the bank and if so how much did they want to see? How many days did it take to get the visa? Thanks so much for any info regarding this!

Yes, that's it KorRor 2. I've went to get it many times just never to apply for a 2 month extension usually for the 1 year extension. So it's pretty much like applying for a 1 year extension. All documents are the same accept you don't have to show funds in the bank. Is this correct? I'm going tomorrow to apply. I just want to make sure I have everything correct or the Immigration lady becomes very grumpy haha!

Hey Guys, I have a few questions regarding applying for a 3-month Non Imm O marriage Visa at the Thai Consulate in Ho Chi Minh. 1. Do I have to show 400,000B in the bank? 2 Does the money have to be in the account for 2 months? or no need to have it in the account 2 months just as long as it's in my account the day I apply? 3. Is Ho Chi Minh the best choice outside of Thailand to get the visa? 4. Do my wife and child have to accompany me to the Thai Consulate? Thanks for any info!!

Thanks so much, this is great advice. I think that's what I'll do. I'll apply for a 3 month non Imm O somewhere outside Thailand then apply for a year again like I usually do at my local immigration office. If the 400,000K only has to be in the account the day I apply then there shouldn't be any worries. Where is the easiest place to apply for the Non Imm O visa?

I need some advice. I've been renewing my Non Imm O Marriage Vias every year for the last 17 years without any issues. I've been using the 400K in the bank. This year my funds are going to be a little short and I won't be able to get the total 400,000k I need in time of the 2 month cut off date. I'll end up being around 2 weeks late. I know I should have organized this earlier but I didn't. What are my options? Will I have to leave the country and apply for a non Imm O outside of Thailand? Where is the easiest/best place to apply for a Non Imm O outside of Thailand? Can I apply for a 1 year Non Imm O outside of Thailand? I know all the documents I need but what are the requirements for the 400,000B in the bank option applying outside of the country? Do they still want the money in my account for 2 months or is it 3? OR is it better to come back to Thailand using a tourist visa then leave again knowing the 400k was in my account for over 3 months then apply for a Non Imm O? Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me!
