Agree with you, how ever "Sufficiency Economy" is the suggested direction from the King and has nothing to do with the study of "Economy" but rather the concept of simplicity, sustainable living, economically independent from others.  (but IMHO very little appreciate and understood by most Thai).

Installing the dish you can buy from a shop I got it from Warorot market! Practicall useless to me I don't even watch it.

I've visited a Royal project in Mae Rim, about only 1 hour drive for the city to the top approx. 1,300 m elevation. 

I was there for the herbs (sweet basil, rosemary sort of herbs).  

That is the place where they grow herbs and cos lectuce for our ceasar salads!

I don't know about land ownership but would be nice to live there.
