  1. "The most common Ozempic side effects are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain and constipation. Serious Ozempic side effects include allergic reactions, changes in vision and pancreatitis. Ozempic has an FDA boxed warning for the risk of thyroid C-cell tumors."

And apparently these are just some of the side effects.

No other ailments but want to lose weight?

    Eat less, exercise more perhaps?

  2. Nope, but just had 3 fillings done at Klaimor Hospital Dental.

Took me a while do get up the courage as like many a visit to the dentist is just about the bottom of the list of things I like to do.

All in all, not as  horrific an experience as I anticipated and not overly expensive at 2500 baht for the 3 fillings. Won't be rushing back but will probably go there again if the need arises.

I'm just imagining the furore back home if they did something like this.

Blackface, cultural appropriation, the woke brigade would be having kittens!

I think I saw the chap on some Robertsons Jam long ago ...

I guess posting a picture of a golly on a jar is inappropriate nowadays? :shock1:

  4. Needed something that reflected Thai Fashion and it gave me this in about 5 seconds.

Create a 3D image based on the domain name ThailandFashion.com. Image 2 of 4

    This technology has multiple uses.

Perhaps show us what it has created from your mind- a scary thought knowing what lurks on AN. :shock1:

Fortunately there are restrictions on what it will create!

  5. If you haven't tried it yet this technology is moving at a rapid pace and fascinating.

Dall-e is text to image and is very simple to use, simply come up with want you want to see in a descriptive sentence and hit create and a few seconds later you have it. Still a few glitches but no doubt will soon be ironed out. Text to video in beta so where next?

Anyway, here is a couple of just top of the head attempts.

Yes, correct ! The 4br, 3 bathroom,  2 storey, big garden house in Pathum Thani cost (20yrs ago ) about 1 mill $HKD.

This tiny flat (2 br, 1 bathroom etc) now would sell for about 4~6 mill HKD !!! Crazy.

But good location, next to an MTR exit. Tram,  5 mins walk away, etc.

And as a Senior (or Elder person ) I go almost anywhere for $HK 2.

Although airport bus is only 50% discount,  but at 21 Hkd, not too bad.

As you probably know, everything works here....power, internet etc, typhoon or not.

But Thailand (thai wife) is a third of the cost, or less (especially medical...virtually free ) to live long term.

The flat sounds like close to Southorn?

Friends have 3 flats in Star Street and one in North Point

Well. He is 100%  correct. I'm presently in HK (permanent HKID),and ,yes, I for one was here when the  Brits left in 1997.

And Kowloon was (still is) crap.

Wanchai and LKF were where the action was. But Covid killed a lot of it, sadly.

I have a large house in outer Bangkok and a tiny flat in Wanchai.

So I know about "Tale of 2  cities".

I guess the tiny flat in Wanchai is worth as much if not more than the large house in outer Bangkok?

I remember a parking space in Causeway Bay, I think, that sold for $100,000 30+ years ago.

I see some are over 1 million US nowadays! :shock1:

I bought a  soft-plastic mouth guard from Lazada.  You can get them from 20 to 50 THB. It works fine.
The dentists here will charge you a small fortune from a custom mouth piece.  I had one once in the US.  This cheap plastic guard works better and is more comfortable than the over-priced custom job made by my US dentist.

Buy one and try it.  You're out 57 THB if you don't like it.  If it works - I just saved you about 10,000 THB.
