Nothing to do with having two passports. This is not a crime anyway.
Maybe because they were focusing on a certain nationality and then realised that, although one had left with one passport, the same person came back on another passport...unnoticed

Confused !!!
It is my understanding that there is a police check on applications...at least when they started the program it was clear there would be one ( maybe run the name through Interpol or other branches) and a positive check would lead to the rejection of the application.
If alleged criminals who have the financial means, want to enter the country (actually not restricted to this one ), then there are many investment programs
As for the inflated membership cost, those who fall for it definitely do not know how to use a computer as simply typing "Thailand Elite" brings the official website where the prices are well advertised
That being said, the exact advertised amount must be transferred to te Company's account. If more money is paid, it is to the agent and. that is, by definition, their job: to be paid for a service, hence not related to Thailand Elite.

I understand that most of the posters are arguing whether he should have been freed/ remain free but the question is about extraditing him to Thailand.
Apart the fact that the statute of limitation has been reached, hence Thailand will not ask for it, the answer to the question is purely and simply NO, he cannot be extradited to Thailand or elsewhere as long as he remains on French soil ( if a warrant has been issued and is still active ) because
France DOES NOT extradite its Nationals

Why such a hike ? I would have thought that Thailand would not be that affected, unlike European countries (not sure about South and North Americas)

Sia is an honorific title, not a name. He'll not be doing jail time.
Not honorific at all, it just states that the people who address him reckon/suppose that the guy is rich/filthy rich but I guess that will not impact your statement : )

Never said you have to like them. Don´t understand why you read them, though. Self-inflicted bad taste. Not a dream in my world.
Not taking your side but the answer is quite funny ( i will try to remember that one )

This has been a longtime issue in Thailand as motorists tend to ignore the sirens while sleeping at the wheel or cops not giving priority to these ambulances when the officers are directing/blocking the traffic.
Although I am not a fan of the German mentality, I was surprised, and it took me a little while to understand why they were doing that, when, on the motorway during a slow down for any reasons, the cars were driving or stopping on the emergency lanes, or as close as possible to the protection rails to leave the main road open, free from any vehicles: No sirens, no police/ambulance/firetruck in sight....just in case
That what should be done everywhere ( I must admit, the first time that happened, I engaged in the "free" lane ... I am sure I have been forgiven for my stupid move, out of ignorance )
Thumbs up to the German on that one

These numbers are highly arbitrary if not controversial
I would be more interested in whether Covid is the cause of death or is among other illnesses of the deceased
The same estimation does not apply to AIDS as people do not die of AIDS but rather from an illness triggered by the loss of the body's immunity

Last I was in the bank, someone withdrew what looked to me as around one million baht in bills and then put it in their bag.
Must confess, I did bat an eyelid ????
But actually, I think I once withdrew a few hundred thousand baht in cash myself, that is, I closed an account with SCB, I think it had 300,000 baht, I wanted to transfer it to another bank, but the daily max was 50,000 baht, so I just got the money in a big envelope, went to Krungthai, made a deposit, and no-one there bat an eyelid for my large cash deposit, maybe I should have requested the withdrawal be in 10 baht coins so I could get on TikTok…
Trust me, daily occurence and you might have missed the era when people were depositing 25 Million baht in cash ( city Bank )
I have even witnessed a guy bringing much more to buy a flat on Sathorn
Also 1 million is only 30,000 US or so

There is nowhere in Thailand that has a track capable of having F1 cars going around it at speed. The only places flat enough would be a large airport. The Americans used to use airports and air bases for high speed racing. Lots of long straights and nothing to hit and good run off areas. Don Mueang and the big road at the back near the air museum would be perfect !
So did (not) Qatar in another field lol

I compliment people, esp. younger ones, who can save up, respect, but why must every single aspect of their lives be recorded, uploaded and shared? Mind boggling!
Maybe I should make a Thick Tocker vid about me buying a chocolate bar at my local convenience store tomorrow.
Hoping to make money on that ....Tik Tok Youtube are businesses for the lucky and smart ones

Again.... a non event
Plenty of customers going to different banks every day to exchange their satangs and baht with banknotes and nobody bats an eyelid
it is the third time in a month
in my opinion, the guy was too lazy to queue at the bank

At this level there should not be anything but a unanimous verdict as it seems that there is still room for argument

Well, if both hands hold the flashlight and the eyes follow a circular movement, they could not be blamed for not spotting it, couldn't they ?

Arrivals in Thailand from countries hit by Marburg virus to be screened
in Thailand News
Posted
Meanwhile, at the same time,
is writing
"Severe diseases, such as Ebola, Marburg and Lassa fever have a slim chance of spreading globally."
and "On the contrary, diseases which are less severe, such as influenza, can spread across the world."
So let's screen everybody from every country for anything/everything and let's quarantines flues/influenza
Let's keep the 8 Billions people safe
Life has its ways and humans are wrong to thing that they won a battle against a disease....they might just only have sped up the process of its disappearance
