The fund paid her brother 20k but he spent double that. Up to him.
I've seen many funerals here mostly at the deceased's houses, but never attended one until her father died. I used to think all those erecting of the tents, tables and cooking were all voluntary but no way. I was surprised and shocked to see 5 so-called mates of her brother each ask for 100 Baht to help with the preparations. With the exception of 2 friends everyone expects to get paid.
Foreigners are not covered?
I am covered in our village, every time somebody dies i pay fifty baht, when i go my wife will get 20.000 baht.

Good to know
The concrete rings are heavy and you pretty well determine where they’re going and that’s it!
you can roll them around initially to get them where you want!
I will fill the lower half with leaves and pieces of wood etc that is cheap and will break down in a year or so and then the rest with good soil from under some of our big old trees and mix in a bag of cow poop to boot! Also pick up a bag of earthworms from garden centre and split it among the first three rings being delivered....they really help to condition the soil etc and once they’re established they live on.
There will be some weed seeds but easy to pick out when they’re at waist level
I use concrete rings for growing veg, have done now for more than 4 years.
Put some dried leaves in the bottom, fill about 80 with soil, put in some cow manure, mix it in, no need to buy worms, they will soon find your rings, and enjoy dining on the manure.

That said expect they could be safely used within housing areas. In city perhaps taxi money would be a better option. If not in an upscale area it could also make her a target for theft.
I use my mobility scooter out and about, i would be totally lost without it.
Target for theft, i think you are getting carried away with that comment.
Used mine now for over five years, never had a problem with anybody trying to steal from me.
I have dropped things, cannot get off to pick them up, always somebody passing would stop help me, never a problem, been stuck on the rough track going to big C, several times people have stopped to help push me out, most times young people have been the ones to help.

This is a disgusting/ cruel way for the authorities here to cut the over burdened prison numbers.
They say they are isolating prisoners, where are they being isolated? Not in any Thai prison, as there are no places to isolate anyone.

The Doomsayers were predicting exponential growth in new infections. Instead, we have a flat line, outside of the prisons.
Only person confused is you.

Hello, are you having problems reading? Maybe time to go to Spec Savers.
So in your opinion 3019 people with the virus and many dead is acceptable, pathetic.
Even 1 person dead is 1 too many.

Pathetic isnt it, the corrections department having to lie about this. But hey this is Thailand, nobody ever takes responsibility for anything here.
She probably caught the virus from some of the many thousands in prison here with the virus.

Hopefully donations from private sector will get to where it should go, and not pocketed.

Why would you want to be less sexy?
If your sexy girl flaunt it, your avatar shows a beautiful sexy lady, that is what is drawing male members to your profile.

Sorry but you guys are just way of base so old fashioned. But then again there is a big generation difference between me and you guys. E learning perfect through the internet. Websites with business information (tax laws) available for me. I just pay to get the right information.
If you use the internet right you are way ahead of the babyboomers. I think its just too hard for your generation to accept that most of you are just out of touch with the new way of learning and gathering information.
I agree about the misinformation but people who use the internet well know where to look for the right information. If i am looking for tax news I go to a paid for tax website from a well known party. I would not go to advice from some unknown entity.
Must be terribly hard to admit that your outdated.
Young people are much smarter now as the old generation. We are much better at problem solving. I am so happy i was raised with computers. We now know how to collect and apply information. We have far more information available. (if you know where to look and that is what babyboomers don know)
I know im generalizing as there are some quite bright babyboomers on this site who do know how things work. Evidently in the IT part of the forum. But you also see a lot of not so bright people who hate things like banking apps and food apps.
Only those that adapt will get better. I read countless books in our local library but it does not come close to what kind of information i got now. If i knew what i know now for instance about fitness (all from the internet) then i would have trained much better when young. Sure there is a lot of misinformation. But that is where real inteligence comes in to seperate the two.
You will be old 1 day, then the younger generation will be able to have a go at you.
Ok thinking you are better than old folk, Baby boomers as you call us, just remember if not for the baby boomers you would not be here to make fun of them.

What he is saying is the complete opposite of what i have been lead to believe over the years, keep fridge /freezer as full as possible to conserve electric.
So in my opinion Phansa is talking nonsense.
