Exactly as they did for Songkran last year and for New Year.

Any major up country outbreaks reported ?
You surely cannot be serious, songkran last year, a handful of cases country shutdown, this year thousands of cases, no shutdown, bloody crazy.

The news comes as the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration on Monday announced the closure of 196 entertainment venues in the capital.
Good idea, but why allow the hordes to travel all over the country for songkran?
It will be a major disaster, never mind wanting to make people happy, better they unhappy but virus free.

Maybe not a tap leaking, but something is leaking, check toilet cistern, look in the bowl is there a slight trickle of water coming down the sides, could be.
Last year we had a similar problem, wife checked all the taps, bum guns, we found it was the toilet cistern, i bent the rod on the ball and problem solved.

Notice it says a civil engineer representing the district said, much more believable if the civil engineer was an independent 1.

I am not posting false information. Since when has an IDP, in addition to a valid UK driving licence in English, been a requirement to get a Thai licence and at which LTD office?
Two years ago I replaced an expired Thai licence with a new temporary licence and that was recently replaced by a five-year licence. On neither occasion was an IDP required but why would it be when an IDP is not a licence?
Nobody changing from a 2 year to a 5 year license is asked for an IDP, so why are you coming up with that?
Applying for your first Thai license, home country license and IDP are required, unless you take the written test and driving test.

Surely they cannot be serious? Not having a license, if they pulled everybody off the road for no license, they would be pulling thousands everyday.

Who was asking for Bht 19000 for the same thing?
How do you know/decide if an insurance company is 'best policy to suit my needs'?
As you say, MSIG were the cheapest, but is that always the best.
Surely you want one which will pay up for any legitimate claim, which you do not know until that claim comes along.
Well mate, we use M.S.I.G. and i would certainly recommend them to anyone needing home insurance.
We insured our home with them, 5 days after insurance started, we had a serious storm, roof was damaged.
I contacted M.S.I.G, all contact was in English, they asked for photos of damage, which i sent, they gave me the go-ahead to get the work done.
After work was done, i was asked for photos of work, they accepted my photos, nobody came.
Two weeks later cheque arrived in the post, now no other company could have done better than that.

Phuket man shot by drunk off-duty Phuket police officer left paralysed
in Phuket News
Posted
Poor young man, got a family, but will no longer be able to support them, tragic.
Due to yet another drunken policeman acting like a clown.
My heart goes out to Aroon and his family, so young to be left paralyzed, unable to do things that before were just routine.
That damned disgrace Pornthep should be put up against a wall and shot.
