If you are using Jomtien, you must register again each and every time you come back into Thailand, even if it's the same address and you're on the same visa. If it's Jomtien you deal with, you're up for a 1,600 baht fine the next time you go there to deal with them.

You have to re-register?  Are you certain?  Re-register with a new website, that makes sense.  But having to re-register after leaving the country?  That is AWFULLY advanced.  Can this "technology" also help 2 databases be able to talk to each other?   EDIT:  Oh, I get it.  The person across from you has simply made that determination and won't accept your old one.

As soon as I got home from school I'd be stuck at the television for hours watching F Troop, Batman,  Lost in Space, Mr Ed, Gilligan's Island,  The Beverly Hillbilies, The three stooges and a few others ....

My favorite's were Lost in Space, Get Smart and The three stooges .....  I liked Batman also ....

The American's were pretty good at slapstick comedy ...

Does anyone else remember those TV shows and what were your favorites   ?

Lost in Space, My Favorite Martian, The Courtship of Eddie's Father, That Girl, Star Trek... all rerun gold!

#2  Three copies were taken of various pages in my passport.....I did not make the copies so I am not sure which pages.....And the 3 copies needed to be signed....

They must have copied the 1. ID page, 2. your VISA and 3. your last entry stamp.

Fortunately, still no issues or complaints online for the 90 Day Report and the TM30 submissions.  The online 90 Day Report is so far the best thing in recent memory from Immigration.  :clap2:

Strictly speaking, codes from banks are not actually SMS messages. Even if you receive a regular SMS, you will not necessarily receive a bank one. It is immensely difficult to predict if you will receive an SMS over an international border.

I suggest creating a UK telephone number in Thailand, such as with giffgaff. This will work.

If not an SMS, then what are they?

It has officially changed now, and it auto-redirects for you:  https://www.thailandprivilege.co.th

Watch out for frauds like this one, though:  https://www.thailandelite.com/online/?action=login

Simply fail the login information or click Register to see the full page, then click the same Member Contact Center link in the lower-left and you will see it is a bogus website:  https://elite-web-dev.golfdigg.com/contactus.  Other links on the lower section of the page go to 10.4.5.90 instead of the genuine ones.

i would just like to say something.

my wife, who is 100% Thai is anything but a patriot.

Infact, she does nothing but moan about her home country, day in day out.

She dislikes her fellow countrymen/women, hates the hot weather and despises those in charge..

don't even mention the color yellow to her.. her favorite color is black!

about the only thing she does like here is the food.

I'm just curious, what would you lot say to my wife if you ever met her?

i mean,, you cant exactly tell her to go home, can you? as she is home..

should she just put up and shut up?

or is she right to voice her anger and frustration at the country in which she was born..

It kinda rubs off on me to be honest ????

One hot night makes a fine life not.  Do you know why you married her then?  This description sounds like a real human turn-off.

I had a friend who in similar situation he just went to the immigration and they phoned the landlord and he got fined, if she gives you the paperwork you can do it yourself,

somewhere on here one of the members did a step by step guide, I forget his name, sorry

Red Phoenix.  I did it myself on the Section38 app, though my landlord is helpful and I also print and hand carry the documents she provided me, i.e. owner and manager ID info, etc.  Immigration keeps giving them back to me though they are all copies!  ????

  8. Use the Android app Section38.  It is stupidly simple and sends the info to the same online page from where you can print for proof to take to Immigration.  See screenshot.  You get a dropdown for every question except your names and the TM6 number (if you have one) and the last field, which is only in Thai (ผู้พักอาศัย) and translates to "residents", where I put the free-form word "possessor", without quotes.  You can also upload all documents through the app as well.

Bit of proof reading would not go amiss to change foreigner welcomes to foreigners welcome

There are no plurals in Thai.  They are correct, sorta.  Welcome to the Land of Smile!

  10. Use the Section38 app in Google Play.  Hard to find, but extremely easy to use; much easier than the online site.  (I use the word "possessor" where it translates to "residents.")  It sends your report to the same online site where you can then print.  Easy, peasy.  Registering initially online is also easy.

For some reason, all my Immigration locations (Jomtien, Chaengwattana) keep handing me back my copied (yes, copied) TM30's as if they are the originals. (but nope, just copies)  ????

I just scan my passports (yes, every page separately) and docs in color and print in black-and-white just the specific pages when needed to take. ????

I was there a few days ago to meet the agent for my one year Elite Visa extension because they now require a photo of you right in front of Jomtien immigration. I paid an agent to do it even though I paid 600k baht for my completely legit EV and supposedly can get express service by asking for a certain immigration officer once I enter because I loathe having to set foot near that immigration. Even for the short time I was there and even though I never even had to enter the building, I hated every minute. Miserable, rude people everywhere and a mess of disorganization. Hopefully the last time I need to go there or at least not for another year guaranteed.

I got there at 7am and was 7th in line.  As usual, a gaggle of unprepared foreigners waiting.  After officers "helped" those 6 in front, they all moved off and I became first in line.  Got my ext. just 29 minutes after their opening time of 08:30am.  The beef of bodies by that time was full... all outside chairs taken and bodies continuing to arrive on foot.  I do not feel sorry for those ill-prepared whackadoodles.  Visiting this place is THE TOP stress point of my entire year!, but I have always received professional service as a result.

Spent ages going round and round recently doing the same.....

My advice is research (obvs) and choose a specific model that suits your requirements...THEN try to find the best price for that model.

We managed to get a 77" LG OLED (older model) for 25K from Homepro.

That is a gigantic size.  My 49 inch is huge and more than enough for one body to move.
