How about neither?

It's difficult to see how babies and toddlers can wear masks, and yet they are a group which is particularly vulnerable to the health impacts of PM 2.5.

..... but it's a lot worse in the North and Northeast. Perhaps 'The Nation' will take it's title more seriously?

It will almost certainly 'turn positive' within the next decade as Bangkok people see their region progressively inundated due to sinking land and rising sea levels. Now is probably the best time to invest in northeastern property.

The WHO says there is no safe limit for PM2.5. To suggest otherwise is very sloppy journalism.

The level of 25mcg is the WHO 24 hr guideline, not a safety limit. The WHO says very clearly that there are no safe levels of PM2.5. This is very shoddy reporting by The Nation.

... and how much does Thai Visa get for this blatant advertising? We live in a society where news and advertising are increasingly confused.

An English version of the new website would be helpful. Foreigners are often in a position to provide useful information.

It's not an actual coup - just a dress rehearsal.

The principal root causes of household debit are an obsession with consumerism and GDP and the belief that a display of wealth enhances a person's social status. While this is a global problem, it's a particularly prominent issue in Thailand.

According to my reading of the relevant scientific literature, cloud seeding makes no appreciable difference to rainfall.

On the basis of what scientific evidence does the Royal Rain Making Department consider cloud seeding to be effective?

What exactly is his definition of fake news which hurts the national security? Without a clear definition, his proposal is simply naked intimidation.

That 'strong and enduring bond' has been in jeopardy since the election of Trump. It is time the UK made this very clear. The current president of the USA is an evil monster, and that any 'special relationship' should now be suspended.

Is there anything this monster would not do to gain his election as leader of the Tory party?

As far as Chiang Mai is concerned, it must be one of the worst places in the world if you value your health.

The present unelected Thai government and relevant officials should eventually be held to account for the inevitable deaths and disabilities attributed to PM 2.5 pollution which they have totally failed to control. If this happens (and regrettably I doubt that it will), it will be noted that the 'safe limit of 50 mcg' is an arbitrary national standard and has little to do with safety.

Note the error in my previous post - 'negligence' is covered in S. 291 and not 391. Apologies
-
The police my well charge drunken drivers who cause death with murder, but they do not write the law and the penal code requires proof of premeditation for a murder indictment (Section 289). The appropriate changes are manslaughter (Section 290) or negligence (Section 391)

Here we go again. There is no 'safe limit' for PM2,5. There is a Thai 24 hr standard, but this is twice the WHO 24 hr guideline. It is highly irresponsible of the media to report otherwise.
