So, excuse the ignorance I'm currently not in Thailand, I presume Uber is now deceased??

As is mentioned a few posts above mine- I seem to remember having to register my passport details when I updated my Contract a couple of years back- I'm hoping that's all it should take. So, how does this affect those of us holding Phone Sim Contracts ( Post Paid, I guess is the term) but are not due to be in LOS until long after the December deadline?
If this has been answered, apologies, just point me to the post, please.

So sad.

Totally Off Topic, but when did these 'Suggested' Posts start to appear in Topics/Posts?? Is this the result of a new policy?

I am assuming this is some new way to increase the revenue generated, and it's enough for me to sign off. -
Ditto... This post is obviously written after one too many Christmas drinks. Decent quality of education can be found in Thailand but it costs a significant amount of money.

While E Cigs are now seen as dangerous, and are Banned!! Sensible legislation in both cases.

Typical of the current Law Makers in Thailand. You can keep it, the place is going down the drain.

More 'Amazing Thai' stupidity.

Pretty shitty behaviour, in a Foreign country where the locals earn about 10% of the normal income from where these lowlifes come from.

"never noticed any dead cockroaches around after they have been spraying"--wow, you can't be watching out much--the cockroaches used to come running out of the manhole covers to escape, and die a few metres or more from the exit points--this was in Kamphaeng Phet, though, maybe the spray if more powerful there...but I doubt it.
-
Dengue, I presume---bit of a fancy title, but Dengue it is, and the ones that bite you are around in the daytime, not just at the usual biting times, be warned...and careful--empty and remove any receptacles of rain water around your properties.

Rain....Bring it on....please, until October, maybe a little tired of it by then but keep it coming for the next 2 or 3 months, pleeeease.

I do wish that posters would just think, for a minute, that family and relatives could easily be reading this drivel--please try to be a little respectful--I really don't see the need for comedy in a Topic like this.

So......the general opinion is that Doha Airport sucks...correct??
We have a flight through there in a couple of weeks or so--usually use Emirates, and always very impressed, sounds like this change of carrier was not a good move, then.

No, they're getting a bit funny like that- useless, eh.

Laughing Monkey is good and pretty easy to find- take the road that passes Rimping and the Mall, (and eventually passes Vdara Resort,) but about 100 metres up that road is a fork and you should go right, another 200 metres on the left is Laughing Monkey (Ian is usually there cooking, most of the time)
There is a sign on the side of these road.
I don't particularly like Chan and P's either, but some do.
There Korean place has a buffet at lunch which many people have spoken highly of, LumLum I believed it's called.
It's always difficult to recommend places because everywhere can have a bad day ( although I like Yummy, and go weekly,I managed to get a stomach bug even there, once, shock horror!!)

I heard that the Airport is now 24 Hours--I'm sure you can find a chair to sit on, depends how you nap.

Francesca Pizza, does more than just Pizza.
I suppose you could add Mr. Chan and Pauline also, a Japanese place just around the Market area, New York Pizza.
The Korean place at Chill Park, or is that the one referred to as a salad bar already?
Laughing Monkey for eat at home stuff.
Incidentally, it rather depends on what 'reasonably priced' means, I was going to say something about a couple of the places mentioned with regard to reasonably priced, but forget it--the OP can decide himself.

So, you can post almost anything, legal, that is? Household, domestic white goods type stuff?

Fridge Freezer??
I, do, actually have a second hand Fridge Freezer which I had thought of driving down to Kamphaeng Phet, but if I could really post it, jeez, that's brilliant.
What does a Click cost to post, just as an idea??
I'm pretty sure that this is a No-No, Fridge Freezer might just be a 'Bridge Too Far'.

Yep,, Luca @ Francesca, Mae Hia,
Tony @ Yummy, Mae Hia,
and Franco-Thai and Butter Is better, too.
That's called sitting on the fence.

I'm obviously going to be laughed out of town--but, isnt a Honda Click a Motorbike??? Are you telling me that you can Post one, get away--I must be seeing things today???
30 day car rental recommendation?
in Chiang Mai

I'm sure it depends on the car, but for a decent, new model I'd be surprised if you'd get much below 700 baht per day.
If you do, I'm interested also, I just got asked 16500 for 22 days.
