  1. The Evaporative Coolers are alright, for very limited space areas--i.e. fine for someone sitting right in front of the unit, but almost useless as a room cooler; and it's essential to get the intake pipe fitted to an external wall/window, otherwise you're defeating the object, I reckon.

Another vote for Neti Pots and Saline--I have 2, cheap plastic ones from online--and, they really do help when my sinuses are getting blocked [not such a good idea if they are already fully blocked, since there is a possibility that the saline finds it's way to the ear cavity, if it's preferred route through the nostrils, is blocked].

  2. Although the probable immediate cause of this was too much alcohol, and available weapons--the possible underlying cause is the terribly high rate of unemployment currently being experienced in this area--we have many family members living within 20 KM of this 'crime scene', and the vast majority are finding work either impossibly hard to find, or non-existent. The drought has destroyed any hopes of farming, and companies like CP have bought up vast swathes of the land for a pittance. This area is a ticking time bomb of resentment.

  3. This is a bit like traveling to Spain......... to try to hook up with Russian women; as has been said, maybe go to Korea, especially since the ladies appear to be attracted to you ( from your observation).

  4. "Santipong drew his .38 handgun to threaten Srimueng, so Srimueng took out his shotgun and shot Santipong in the arm. After being shot, he tried to run away but Srimueng chased after him and shot him again, fatally."

Sergeant Major, pulls out a .38, but the old guy has enough time to get his 12 Gauge out and shoot first--something's not quite right here.

  5. I found the sausages to be more like minced meat and not sausagey enough, but no dispute about the quality of the ingredients.

Which particular recipe was that--he does about 5 different types of sausage, Italian Chorizo, Apple and Leak, Cumberland, Standard Sausage, and I believe a couple more-- did you try them all?

I only ask, because I am slowly working my way through them, so far so very good, but maybe I haven't come to the type you tried.

  6. Not sure why it is hard to find-- there's a Google Map reference and once you drive to the location there are several signs outside the property--the owner says they will be relocating to a larger premises very soon, but it's only about 50 metres further on from the existing situation.

Food is great--I've had several types of sausage, all great, bacon also excellent and the Ready meals like Lasagne, Fish Pie, Coq Au Vin and Meatballs are all very good--just like Home Cooking, but better than mine by far--I just prepare some Pasta or Potatoes, Salad or whatever and we have a great meal. My Freezer has several meals from Laughing Monkey in it at all times.

The Post above mine just popped up as I posted my comment-- I didn't know the UK history but can definitely agree about the food, hygiene and taste/quality--give the place a try, if you like good Western Food
