  1. "MH370 has been LOST"...

Doea anyone remember the LOST TV serie?

    Where is that island?

To me, as long as they have no physical evidence to prove where this plane ended, I will keep doubts...

Not many people did talk about, confirm or decline the rumour that 20 ingeniors from Freescale Semiconductors were on board. If it was the case, I am afraid we have to consider a "Secret Defence" case!

  2. I cashed some profits on bitcoin and it helped me to realize My Dream:

Open a nice little charming hotel restaurant in a colonial house in Kampot, Cambodia.

Wanting to offer a cozy-friendly-convivial ambience, I named it Auberge du Soleil.

I just (re-)opened it, it was named Senor Suchi, from wich I have kept the dedicated and trained staff, and Soleil d'Or previously, with a very good reputation which I will do my best to catch up in a step by step transition.

I want Auberge du Soleil in Kampot to be a "Restaurant Gourmand" with (very soon) a "world fusion menu", from Swiss Cheese Fondue and Röstis, Mediterranean food (my origins), Tex-Mex (a couple things from the past menu) to Khmer and Asian specialities, and as well a "Boutique Hotel' with large and comfortable rooms, located in a beautifully restored French Colonial House of Kampot.

You are welcome to pay your nights, drinks and food with bitcoins frations at www.Auberge-du-Soleil.com

  3. Stupid politicians!
In Cambodia, opposition boycotts the parliament and requests new election...

In Thaïland, opposition is not happy with the government, the government organizes new election despite it was elected by the majority without the claims of fraud at the time of the election, but the same whiners boycott the election which has been offered to them!

    I will never understand politicians...

  4. Yep...

I have lost a lot on forex at first.

Why? Too high leverage and greed!

Now I only trade what I can afford to loose and I cash out regularely when in profit!

My seed money is back and I only risk my profits.

No huge Bingo but no suicidal lost!

Only thing I plan to keep invested for one year is not directly on forex but 25% of the bitcoins I got as profit!

25% already cashed, 25% to cash out before the end of march, and 25% to cash whenever I want or need...

My advice: take profit and play again PART of it.

  5. I never seen as many Hummers and new model Range Rover as in Phnom Penh...

And except the Camry taxi drivers, no one knows how to drive a car here, they will block the road for 15 minutes for an easy parking, do reverse preselections (drive the rightest lane to turn left, and when fast, they reach 30Km/h...

... but everywhere they say Cambodia is one of the poorest country in the world...

So yes here I wonder why richer who are not able to drive a car do not support a bit the poorest instead of driv8ng the biggest luxury cars?

  6. Apple is a private expensive closed world.

Acer is probably the worst with Futjitsu Siemens, HP is not reliable except maybe business category.

To myself, I would choose Asus for the cost-performance with good quality, Lenovo for high quality but a little expensive, eventually Dell as 3rd choice.

  7. Acer, Futjitsu Siemens, Toshiba, I would stay away.

HP as well for the worst after sale service.

Then Dell seems to have well improved their ASS, but I believe Asus is a good value for your money and I have been amazed by their excellwnt After Sale in BKK.

Buy cheap and hope it lasts or by a bit bellow the highest end to insure getting quality.

  8. Microsoft has always been security leaks provider / manufaturer...

How could they offer an antivirus which does another (better) way?

No way for me to rely on MS product!

Yes I use Win7... but for everything else on my laptop, I avoid MS products.

Avast Home (free) has protected my computers and the ones I had to clean with not one infection since years.

I still check sometimes with Malwarebyte's Antimalware (free) and do some online scans.

All confirms that even I am a Wild Wild Web user, Avast does a perfet job without being as heavy as Kasperski.

Norton is a "virus" by itself as it takes control of your PC and does not even protect it.

I did some tries of AVG free which did let some malwares install, Avira is not too bad...

But my recommendation for a free AV is clearly Avast !

  9. He he... What about thinking of Cambodia?

The charm and warm smiles which have disapeared from Siam 15 years ago, cheaper life, US$285 Business visa extension (multiple entry but no need at all to exit the country at any time) which allows you to work with your own hands in about any type of job, even owning your small business... And get your Khmer passport after 5 years of residence (which then allows you to own land...)

With all my Respect and Long Life wishes to King Bhumibol, I am afraid Thailand will get into a civil war the day His Majesty will retire to Nirvana...

Welcome to the Kingdom of Wonders...

By the way, no alcool bans or forbidden hours and very cheap cigarettes...

  10. 1) If it works, don't fix it..

    2) Win7 is a bit more stable than XP

    3) If your hardware can offord it, yes, I as a geek would upgrade but surely not from a black market DVD copy, only original to avoid rootkits and some shit they add in their "cooked" versions!

    4) I had an excellent result on a basic 1Ghz, 2Gb RAM netbook, as fast with 7 than XP

    5) Upgrade to Win8 is not recommended by the author of "Win8 for dummies" but I will not mind having Win8 if pre-installed on a new PC... But what has now "Blue" codename (Win9?) will probably be the standard when I will chang my perfect Asus Zenbook UX31e...

  11. He he.. I use a room for sleep and shower... and occasionaly more.

So a room needs to be basically clean and safe but I never turn on a TV except when my girl wants all the neighborhoud to know how good I am to her.

Then true, I see the price of a small beer around Nana being as expensive as a large one on Khao Sarn!

Being good on using city busses thanks to google maps, my next location in BKK will be decided by my budget and lenght of stay.

    Thank you everyone

  12. Thank you all for your answers...

Double the price of a Khao Sarn room at least then!

In fact I like to be in a place not too far from my shoppings (Pantip, Central World, MBK..), having convenient links to the airports and train station (BTS) and having a night life too...

As well, aircon makes me sick...
