  1. Does anyone know if there are anywhere that sells outdoor Spas, like this?

Its a Norwegian page, but from the pictures you get the idea. Asking for a friend, so I dont really have a clue about such things. The main point is that it has some sort of pumps that creates a current, and heating.

  2. I have recently gotten hold of a Sony Ericsson 610i and an external bluetooth HOLUX GPS device. Installed Nav4all and it works good, but they dont support thai maps. Does anyone know of gps software that will work with this phone that supports maps of bangkok?

  3. I am in the market of buying a tablet for graphic works, and have been looking at the Wacom Bamboo as it has a nice price and looks ok fr my needs. But I have also seen a lot of other, much cheaper, brands around in Pantip and Fortune. Does anyone have any experience with these inexpencive tablets (The Wacom is 4.200B and these are in the 1.000-1.500 range)?

    Edit: wacom bamboo tablet 4x6

  4. I would really like to see the MSI Wind in action, as this guide rates it pretty high. But I was in Fortune and looked for the MSI-shop, but were unable to find it. Could someone who has been there give me a clue as where to find it?

  5. I've had a few skirmishes with the ants for over a week now, and my tactic has been to follow them to their entrance point and block it. But today I woke up and they had escalated the conflict with a massive attack on my supplies, a box of Koko Crunch, the last food in the house. This act of aggression would not be tolerated, so I cast my principles of fair war aside and performed a tactical retreat with a diabolical plan. I resupplied at 7/11, and then carried out several chemical attacks, severely crippling their numbers, and hopefully morale. I have regained full domination of my apartment!

    Man: 1, Ants: 0

We will fight in the milk, we will fight in the cereal, we will fight in the cupboards and we will never surrender!

  6. At MBK first floor, all the way to the upper left corner (from standing in main entrance) there's a leather shop that sells a lot of western gear. Noticed it last time I was there and tried to remember the last time I saw a Thai Cowboy :-)

Have heard there is a large community of western/cowboy enthusiasts in Thailand, but I think they are mostly located around Pattaya.

(Notice I didn't recommend Soi Cowboy for western fun:-)

  7. I like to go browsing electronic articles as I am quite a fan of gadgets and all kins of shiny toys, but Bangkok is a bit big and difficult to get a grasp on. Is there anyone who can give some pointers to places that sell electronics like laptops, computer equipment, cameras etc.

Only places I have seen so far are MBK and Pantip.

  8. Hehehehe, nice one Dave. The dark blue topped milk was ok, so I think I will be sticking to that. But Cuban, I must admit I find the orange juice and cereal a bit odd, so I think I'll take a rain check on that one, but thanks for the tip!

  9. When I moved to Thailand I tried a couple of the different brands of milk here, but did not care for the taste of any. They did'nt taste bad, but very different from what I am used to. I thought to myself that I don't need milk, and can rather switch to orange-juice, but now i've got a powerful craving for cereal. Do ALL thai milk taste different from scandinavian milk, or are there a brand thats similar?

And another thing, does anyone know if they sell captain crunch in Thailand?
