Improved roads Modernised public transport. Have they built that monorail then? facilities catering to family-friendly tourism. They managed to fool some family friendly resort owners to build up in North Pattaya, but apparently the little busters remain with the resort grounds as not much in evidence whenever I was in Pattaya

I would be good to see Mexico finally paying for the wall with a levy on remittances. -

Unless you volunteer to take care of the baby Uni will be a bit difficult. Best get the baby adopted or she's never going to have a life of her own otherwise. For feck's sake get her fitted with a coil or it's going to happen again. -
IMO wings are BS. I have such differing opinions on myriad subjects that one's head would explode trying to put me in a political box.. People are just people that have opinions of certain subjects, end of.

Right wingers are IMO in favour of wars and such like unpleasantness, but Trump has proven he does not share the blood lust. Biden was more of a right winger on violence than Trump.

If he was a so called "normal" person he would not have been elected the first or the second time. BTW, there is no real "normal" when it comes to people. All 8 billion of us are different. People confuse being in a flock with being "normal".

He was elected to destroy Washington as it is, so yes, it'll be interesting how he gets on with that task. I can think of a few Washington government establishments that need a complete overhaul, or being abolished. BTW, I doubt the POTUS decides who will be an officer in the US military, so he can't put cronies in charge, and in any event the troops do not have to obey an illegal order. I do not expect a US version of the Burmese military to occur except in the fevered imaginings of Trump haters.

Why Trump Should Support a Pardon for Hunter Biden
thaibeachlovers replied to Social Media's topic in World News
The problem with that is that Hunter is a very bad man. He deserves to spend a long time in prison. With any luck daddy could share a cell with him. Sod magnanimity when it comes to any of the Biden clan. -
Warning Signs: The Looming Collapse of a Critical Ocean System

You do know that Trump was POTUS before and none of your chain rattling happened, don't you? It was pretty good as we didn't have any American wars starting for 4 years. BTW, what has Trump to do with this topic? Are you compelled to put silly anti Trump posts in every thread? -
Warning Signs: The Looming Collapse of a Critical Ocean System

Can't beat nature. Humanity has behaved very badly towards the host planet and Gaia is going to punish us for it. The world must act swiftly LOL. IMO never going to happen, and in any event IMO nobody has any real solutions to prevent an entirely natural event occurring. I'm sure a few more taxes will be levied, a few more trees will be grown, a few EVs will be sold and a few windmills will be erected, and a whole lot of profit will be in the usual suspects wallets, but the result will be no more than what Canute achieved. IMO the green parties of the world should proclaim Canute their patron saint. I've been waiting a long time for someone on here to come up with actual policies that are affordable, acceptable and effective, but I suspect I'll still be waiting in year's time. -
As I see it people looked at what was on offer and chose the one that ( despite the Dem's propaganda ) made many American's lives better the first time he was POTUS, compared to one that was in lock step with Biden, who did not make many American's lives better. When it comes to it, people will vote on what they think will benefit them, not on any irrelevancies. I loathed Harris for many reasons, but If I were a US voter and thought she had policies to benefit myself I'd have held my nose and voted for her. Trump may be as bad as so many accuse him of being, but it's irrelevant what their personality is when it comes to our personal benefit.

I don't know why he does, but I do because the west should behave better. Nobody expects the other side to have morals or play fair, but when the side of "democracy, liberty, justice and freedom" behaves like a bunch of barbarians with better weapons it's disillusioning and very, very sad. I've pretty much given up on the west having morality when it comes to other countries. As I see it not much difference between the west and the other side- behaving as badly as the enemy.

‘Wife for hire’: Inside Thailand’s shocking rental marriage trend
thaibeachlovers replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Probably same reason as most of us. Think it's going to be sex without having to go look for it in a bar. Usually wrong. Re the lottery, agreed. Contract with an escort agency would be the cheese. -
‘Wife for hire’: Inside Thailand’s shocking rental marriage trend
thaibeachlovers replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
My rental always came in useful for minding the bags while I walked around looking for a place to stay. It was way cheaper renting in Pattaya and taking them to the islands. Many places on Thai beaches didn't have rentals available, and the ones in the town were far too expensive as scarcity increases prices. When I was working in Saudi I was able to afford Bkk Gogo rentals, but the UK isn't as lucrative to work in, so it was a stop off in Pattaya on the way south. .
