  1. This thread is about finding my brothers assets.....you don't think a million dollars U.S is not enough motivation.. :D ..I guess there isn't too many sport bars around eh.. :D ...enough speculation inspector Clouseau...this is not the trial but merely a thread to find the assets which have been unlawfully taken.. :o ...I do have other means of searching but thought maybe the members here could HELP....Thanks to all who have been helpful in their posts... :D ....PM's are a great tool for personel messaging

  2. Thanks but remember it probably does not have the black roll bar any more as it apparently has had one of those chromed or not ?? bars added to the truck bed for storage of construction material as it is being used for work between Samui and Koh Phangan....sure was a nice place...he wanted her to be happy and gave her everything he could...

  3. Okay, sorry I didn't add them before....I didn't think I brought any with me....Also included in the package is the 2 and a half year old Honda Civic licence plate number "ชฐ 7746" just a week before he was murdered he was telling me on the phone how much Nee enjoyed driving it and how he was going to purchase a better suspension kit for it.....he gave her and her family everything they could have ever wanted but it wasn't enough...its too bad he told her about his insurance policy with his employer "Nobel Drilling" we had a meeting 6 months before his death in which he instructed myself and Nee on its disbursements should something happen....I also sent him an e-mail regarding cell phone software...here it is:

    ME "Date: Wed, 19 Dec 2007 19:47:05 -0800

Did you look at the things you can do with that phone spying software....it is unreal that you can access the phone and listen to what is going on without anyone knowing...you can also get an approximate location as well as seeing all text messages in and out...what will they think of next...."

    .ExternalClass .EC_hmmessage P {padding:0px;} .ExternalClass body.EC_hmmessage {font-size:10pt;font-family:Tahoma;} Bro,

The software has been around for more than a year here. Didn't really cause much of a stir. Great tool for the paranoid/jealous types or spies. Not much use for normal people. Which are you? "////////////////////////////

Sure wish he was the jealous/paranoid type.....Anyways here is some pics of the vehicles also one of his 5 dogs, he loved animals and also had 3 cats and a maid to look after them as he didn't want his wife to work.....He gave everything and got murdered in return......

I'm looking forward to the trial at the end of July....there will be some suprises in store....

I'm having a little problem with pics....next reply..

  4. Yes, very close....Also the truck "blue 2003 Isuzu 2 Door 4X4 Extended Cab D-max With Plate Number "บง 4466" registered in Ranong" is being used for a family members construction business commuting between Samui And Koh Phangan....the last time I saw it it had upgraded chrome wheel rims, chrome plated side mirrors....I've heard it now also has the Thai-style chrome bars around the box for carrying equipment.....Thanks for the help....

  5. Jesus, that's a heart braking story Richard. I will indeed keep and eye out for it, and the truck. I don't suppose you know the registration of either do you?

Yes the plate on the Harley Davidson is: รตร 21 registered from Bangkok

the blue 2003 Isuzu D-max is: บง 4466 registered in Ranong

    Hope that helps...THANKS

I guss what I didn't add is that all are free on bail and Nee(the X) is supposedly staying close to her sister who owns a beer bar on Koh Samui which is why the assets are there...

Can you give the name and location of the bar on samui? The X and sister maybe their and also their bike and truck.

I don't know the location as of yet....Since it is a holiday and weekend my search has been on hold...I'm sure I will find out soon...If not I will find out at the next court hearing....if we do not recover the items in question it is quite possible the mother could find herself in Jail as she is totally disregarding agreements made within the court...I appreciate the help from all who have replied...Thanks

  6. I was replying to the OP. I was not aware that part of replying to any post was the necessity to "do research," whatever that might entail.

Everyone says, "Hope you get your stuff back," but that's obvious. The OP was making a call for recovering merchandise, not posting a condolence book.

My point was that getting this bike returned might prove touchy, particularly if the sale included the green book and other paperwork (the OP didn't mention that they were not included. The OP said just that they were sold).

But everyone can rest assured that I was given a proper vitriolic, potty-mouthed admonishment by the OP in a PM.

I would further suggest that anyone trying to recover any goods under similar circumstances (I'm speaking in general terms now) ought to keep a cool head and act with tact and cunning, rather than with aggressive bravado. Finding the merchandise (be it a motorcycle or a washing machine) and storming up waving a court document at the one in possession and trying to make off with whatever it is might not go down well with the one who paid money for it -- stolen or not. We've just seen one foreigner shot for standing up for his rights, we don't need more examples like that, do we?

If the deceased brother's things were sold without authorization, of course I hope they are recovered and returned to the rightful heir. But please don't crucify me for thinking several steps down the road and postulating on what might unfold.

Think about this yourselves: If any of these things are located, what do you think the next step will be? THAT is my point.

Trust me, I have all court documents which are required to recover these assets....and it won't be me recovering them once they are found...if they were purchased by anyone then that sale is NOT valid. I've got people working on this I just thought maybe someone on this forum had some insight into there whereabouts...There are some people who wish to Dramatize my request but it was really quite simple...If anyone hase seen these items or knows of their whereabouts please let me know.....one simple request...Thank-you...

  7. ...everything was sold and my brother owed her money as he borrowed 20,000 baht on several occasions and he never repaid her...hmm sounds fishy to me.

So the way you tell it, the mother had nothing to do with the murder. Is it possible under Thai law she may have her daughter's rights, if the daughter designated her for this? Could the sale of these vehicles be valid, thereby rendering your search invalid?

Or, if not, what are you prepared to do for the current "owners"? What if they don't want to sell them back to you, or do you expect them just to hand them over, "Touch luck chum, you bought misappropriated merchandise"?

Uh, if I had just shelled out for that very Harley, you might have trouble convincing me to give it back, or even for me to accept your cash compensation. Then it's back to court.

What is your goal if you find the bike, for example? You must be willing to pay them for what they paid for it. I mean, no one will willingly hand over a vehicle on the strength of some yet-undetermined-outcome court case. Even if there is a supportive verdict for you, you still have the problem of the current owners. Seems like back to court again.

Sound fishy, does it? He borrowed 20K a few times? Lie or truth? Not only will you never know for sure, you will certainly not be able to prove it one way or the other.

So either deal with it or don't; it won't matter in the end.

Assuming any of this is true murder story is actually true

I was going to reply to this but will take the path of silence as most who read it will see it for what it is...

  8. Jesus, that's a heart braking story Richard. I will indeed keep and eye out for it, and the truck. I don't suppose you know the registration of either do you?

  9. Harley.jpg">Trying to make a long story short.....My brothers assets have gone missing and this is the only place that might be able to help.....My brother was murdered in Ranong on Feb 03, 2008 His wife and boyfriend as well as his uncle are charged in the murder....The trial is due to take place on July 28, 29 and August 4 with the decision date August 14, 2009, I had a lawyer reffered to me by one of my brothers supposed friends and that turned into a 100,000 baht nightmare.....anyways I had to come back to thailand to straighten this mess out....I was granted joint executorship with her mother as his wife is an indicted person and cannot be joint executor...anyways I got a new lawyer and went to the mothers house (she moved 5 away from Ranong) her jaw dropped when she saw me get out of the truck and she proceeded to tell us that everything was sold and my brother owed her money as he borrowed 20,000 baht on several occasions and he never repayed her...hmm sounds fishy to me...anyways we had already done searches and froze the assets so nothing can be legally sold....we left her house with nothing gained it was tough seeing my bro's tool box sitting there etc....anyways I'm just trying to find out where his assets are and all evidence points to Koh Samui area.....if anyone has seen this Harley thereabouts could you please let me know.....it is most likely also with his pickup a Blue 2003 Isuzu D-Max LS 4X4. Hopefully the pic of the harley I'm attaching shows up....It is a 2005 Harley Davidson Dyna- superglide with many customized extras....Thanks for any help.....if you need more info just pm me....
  10. For Songkran I'm traveling north to Kamphaeng Phet in order to visit the fiance's family (for the second time!). The first time the two of us flew to BKK; this time, she's already up there and I'm leaving solo as soon as I finish work next week. In order to have money for gifts, food, etc. once I arrive (and I don't have to worry about her comfort -- I don't mind "roughing it") I'm doing this trip on the dirt-cheap. Actually, the bus ticket to Bangkok was a bit more expensive than I would have liked at 616 baht but still below my budget of 750. I'm actually taking the day bus (leaves at 7 in the morning); sounds bone-headed/hot, I know but I really wanted to attend the Phuket Bike Week opening festivities the night before I leave.

Anyway, I'll be arriving in Bangkok at the Southern Bus Terminal and wish to catch the last bus to Kamphaeng Phet. That one leaves at 23:30 from Mochit. Normally, I'd take a taxi and have no worries but, again, I'm trying to do this on the dirt cheap. A Thai friend told me that a friend of his took a direct bus from the Southern Bus Terminal to Mochit Terminal and that it cost just 20 baht. I'm sold!

We've taken a mini bus (van with seats for 9) from Mochit to the southern terminal for 30 baht each...So definitley they will go both ways....no idea if they run late or ?? as we caught ours at 9 am....They are available though....as this was 2 weeks ago....

The trouble is, I can't find anybody else who knows anything about this bus. Does it exist? Where do you catch it? Is this another case of a Thai saying something they think I want to hear rather than giving a truthful answer? An inquiring mind would like to know in advance....

Thanks for any and all well-thought-out replies...

  11. My condolences to his family....it brings back terrible memories of being informed of my brothers murder in Ranong last year. Hopefully justice will be served but I am really wondering now about Thailands judicial system since the perpetrators in my brothers case are free roaming the streets on bail till the trial at the end of July then who knows.....tea money can buy you almost anything in Thailand. Sad....

  12. We are not allowed to have a lawyer acting as co-prosecutor as Thai Law states it can only be provided by a Father, Mother, Son or Daughter....we are not allowed access to any of the evidence against the accused as we are not any of these and it does not matter if he does not have any of the above as this is written in Thai law.......What can a lawyer with access to no information do ??

  13. WOW, its really nice to see so much suport....THANKS. I'm quite tired right now after having travelled through the land of smiles 18 hours worth including layovers at bus stations....I'm tired...now here I sit in Taipei after a 3 hour flight and another 6 hours wait for a 12 hour flight..and I still wont be home for hours after that.....It is even hard to think right now...But it sure is nice to see total strangers helping....I've never been one to ask anyone for help....stubborn or stupid ??? Anyways thanks for everything....

  14. After having sat through many court proceedings looking at these people first as prisoners being meek and humble then to see them attend court from the outside makes me sick.....I never had the pleasure to meet this f'in Jinda guy in the hallways of the Thai court but I did witness a Thai forsenic investigator (POLICE) hand him some money in court....makes you really feel safe doesn't it....Also having to see Nee and her boyfreind arrive to attend court Nee driving her Hi-So honda accord all smiles...Then sitting in the court waiting area and have her boyfreind sitting on one side and her walking by looking at me saying "sabai-de mei" sickening....all I could do was ignore her....it was so hard just having to sit there and witness all this but it is what I HAD to do... I've spent a lot of time in Thailand this past while and it is amazing the things that happen here....a lot of which makes no sense at all....How can this man "Jinda" be released ?? The Canadian embassy stated this was a "temporary absence" does this mean he was not released on bail and just trusted to return ?? This man has a horrific criminal past yet the Thai justice system (Ranong) felt he was not a threat to skip town or commit other crimes ??? Another case of TIT......Unbeleivable and sad to see things like this happen in such a beautiful country whose people on the most part are just like you and me...but they have learned to live with and accept such inconsistencies

  15. I recently stayed at the 18 Coins Inn on Soi Beokaw....It was quite decent for 500 Baht a night for a superior room that was fine 198/20 Soi Beokaw tel-66-3841 6963 or if you want to be closer to the action I 've also stayed at the Eastiny Plaza Hotel on Soi 8 tel 66-38362455 right in the middle of it all and a new hotel(there are lots of Eastiny hotels look for the new yellow and white one with the Buffet rest. on the main floor) for 1,200 a night I paid only 1,100 but I'm good at sweet talking......breakfast buffet included (not so great) and a nice pool......

  16. Just a quick note as I don't like to talk much right now. When I was in Ranong for court proceedings a few weeks a go my lawyer had different information for me.....In the begining he said we would be able to sieze ALL assets owned by nee and Dale and she and her family would end up without anything once she was convicted this sounded good. Well, a few weeks ago this lawyer told me we would only get one half of the assets if she is convicted and only one third if she got off....Funny how these stories change it makes me feel very uneasy about this lawyer as he should have known this from the beginning if it were actual fact. How she would get anything if she were convicted is beyond belief !!! Seeing Nee and her boyfriend walking free sickened me as did seeing this hitman laughing and talking with freinds in court ...Anyways time to run....Thanks for all the help everyone !!!

  17. As you all know we are under police protection.....We always have an undercover officer with us....well....he left last night and I thought hmmmm strange but then felt like going to one of Dales favorite watering holes to have a few cool ones alone (without police) so I thought....I went to lobby and cased the joint and did not see any police...went outside had a smoke walked around looking for anyone and the coast looked clear !!! I called a friend (whoo had no idea about police protection) and went to hang out and sit in my bro's favorite chair (alone) it was very touching seeing a plaque in his honour at his favourite spot !! Anyways I had 3 tiger beer and left to go back to hotel....Today I find out I had 10 police scrambling to follow me....I didn't notice a soul !!! Funny but true, would like to add more but the celebration will begin soon....

  18. Hi All,

The cremation took place about an hour ago......Dale is free !! That is how I feel anyway....watching the smoke rise from the smoke stake gave me a great feeling of his soul being released.....Dale May your journey be as wonderful as the life you led !! I will never forget our life together !! Love Always, Your Brother

P.S I took many pictures and am willing to share with all !! I am so busy right now it will be at least a day or two.....Looking forward to Celebration !!!

  19. Thanks for All your help....it is appreciated.....I am in Hong kong right now and I will be onward to BKK shortly. Thanks, Richard

    Hello to all,

I am new on this forum and "stumbled accidentally" on it through a post made on a French/Thai forum (FT). I was shocked by what I read, by Dale's terrible fate, of course, but also by the possibility that his killers might escape justice.

To Dale's family, all my condoleances. Losing a loved one is already heartbreaking, losing a loved one in such terrible circumstances is even harder.

I work for the Dutch television (before I get your hopes up, I'm sorry to say that as an "End Director Engineer" there is nothing I can do for you except give you some good advice, TV wise), you must keep contacting all media possible, it does make a difference (for once, media can be used for a good reason), don't let the "story" fall, thaigene2's "next steps" are the best, this is really how you should proceed !

However, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that this is something that happens frequently between Thais, so much so that it is not even mentionned anymore in the newspapers. Does this explain or excuse what happened to Dale, certainly NOT, ............ but bringing his "killers" to justice might make the "hitmen" (and those who hire them) think twice .............. and hopefully, Thais would benefit from this too !

I made a "resume" of Dale's life and death from everything I have read on ThaiVisa, translated it in French and posted it on the FT Forum, it's not much but the main thing at this point is talking about it, in all languages, so that it may not be forgotten.

Please keep in mind that pursuing your brother's murderer might "take the life out of you", it could also give a meaning (where none can be found) to his death should you fight this battle for all.

    :o Genevieve
