Geez.... renewal of pp prior to then problematic.

Thinking your best option is to encourage (bribe) wife to attend immigration for another extension based on marriage since retirement not an option.

    Home visit might be tricky.

    Yeah,

Seems my only option, iv never had a home visit, probably because we of similar age and can see from photos and kids age its legit

But whats the betting when you dont want them to come they decide.to.

You don't need to obtain a visa.

However you need to leave Thailand border bounce and reenter visa exempt.

After entry obtain a non O retirement and subsequent extensions.

Not having to leave Thailand would have been an option if on good terms with wife and could change your extension to one based on retirement.

    Seems not possible.

Obviously non O and extension has more difficult financial requirements.

If you cannot meet these you could consider use of agent.

Edit: after thought..You could pay the wife to attend immigration for the change of extension to based on retirement.

Thia is the problem, as i only have 2 pages left in my passport i cannot do a border bounce as it will require a 1 page visa and stamps which will fill the passport and not enough time to get another passport.

I didn't anticipate having this issue as 1 more renwal, 1.page left so plenty of time to renew my passport

Im not old enough to get a retirement visa but ironclically enough i will be if i can get this renewal as i am 48 now soon to be 49 so 1 more extension i will be 50 when it expires.

  3. Me and my wife have seperated (although still married) after 18 years, married for 15 of those with 2 young children.

During the 15 years i have always had some kind of either marrige visa or the last 3 years visa based on my thai dependants children.

Problem is that now she is becoming a bit unstable and 1 minute she is OK and can get on but 9 times out of 10 she just ignores me, phone calls, chats anything even though i try to talk about the kids. Even worse though is that she has completely turned the kids against me and they are currently staying with her.

So basically in a nutshell i doubt she is going to help to renew my visa as i will need copy of her ID, house book etc.

So if the situation stays like this what are my options in renewing my visa i Thailand as i cannot leave the country to get a visa as i only have 2 pages left in my passport.

    Thanks

Which Thailand are you living in? I have been to Phaya Thai 1 hospital many many times, from routine treatments to several emergencies, and that includes dental work. I have consistently been treated with sensitivity and compassion, and the professionals there are exemplary in their dedication. I did it all as an outpatient and including meds I have never paid much more than about $300 US. I have been equally satisfied with other hospitals including Bangkok Hospital, where I got my Covid booster. But go ahead and complain, it's probably all you know how to do, and clearly you're not happy unless you're complaining about something. One experience does not define an entire country. And I find your toilet story dubious. There are numerous people online who make up stories to embellish a point. I'm personally quite happy here after 10 years, and have never encountered nor directly heard of anything such as you describe. BTW, did your dead neighbor complain about being left on the floor? Did you even so much as help get him onto a bed?

Wow, thats a bit abusive isnt it.

Caling people a liar because they happen to.mention a story and you dont like it

What you having done at hospital, ingrowing toenail pulled out, never paid more than 300 USD inc meds, now that's a joke

  5. Unfortunately Thai hospitals  have no compassion, its money on no treatment.

I remember my next door neighbor dying on the toilet, i got him off an laid him on the floor, when the ambulance arrived and they couldn't find his passport they just left him lying there until the morgue van came in the morning.

Task A is to contact the card provider and talk to them. The single biggest error people make is to ignore it and hope it will go away.

If you can make any payment at all this should keep you in their (reasonably) good books.

EDIT Are you entitled to any severance? It can get quite large if you've been there for a long time (IIRC up to 10 month's salary tax free).

Bit of a long story but basically it was for small company, i had a WP etc but after about 7 years they decided to shut the company down completely with zero discussions and then said you can continue to work for us on a digital domad type basis so had me over a barrell

Thus the obligation for full severance pay is no longer needed.

  7. I have had a Credit Card for about13 years with 100k limit which for ages has always been maxed out.

I have never missed a payment but this month lost my job due to ill health so currently am unable to make the monthly minimum payments and given my current condition im not sure id find another job till my issue is fixed.

My question is what are my options and is it a criminal offence to not make these payments and if I left the country to go home to seek treatment with the intention of returning would i have a problem leaving or returning.

    Thanks

  8. I have been married my wife for 15 years, have 2 kids 12 and 14.

Currently i have a EOS based on Thai dependents (kids).

Every year we renew i have to show family photos, marriage certs etc. im under 50

Unfortunately me and the wife dont see eye to eye anymore, she has left, and typical thai mood wont even anwser the phone.

My question is..What are my options to renew my EOS as she wont be helpful and probably divorce wont go through by renewal time.

    Thanks

  9. I don't think you have any rights if you wasnt married at the time of birth, silly rule but it seems to be the case.

Its annoying and frustrating because they likely to send the kid up to the village with grandparents and then go off to work somewhere.

Im going through similar although I was married and named on birth certificates.

Best option, keep on side as nothing like an upset Thai women,  perhaps offer her bit of money each month for child support, money always brings a smile to Thais.

    Good luck????

You need a lot more than an alternative tablet.

You need a through evaluation by a better doctor.

Where in Thailand are you located?

Im currently located in Pattaya, iv been using the Bangkok Pattaya Hospital

  11. Iv recently been diagnosed with DVT after a scan in the left leg under the knee.

Iv beem taking Rivoxan 20mg in the morning for the last 2 months but they dont seem to be working for me as pain is about a 6 or 7 all the time but then at times the leg and foot blows up probably twice a week then it goes to a 10

Iv spent loads on hospital but seems everytime you go they are not really listening.

If anybody (and i hope not) is in a similar situation and has a recommendation for an alternative tablet id appreciate it.
