Many countries have complained about "unofficial" Chinese police stations in their countries. Are they here already.

I can't see Chinese tourists welcoming them since I understand that groups must put up with "minders" or "monitors" from the CCP already.

Quite.  I was surprised to read 2 pages of this thread and no one mentioned the secret Chinese police stations all over the world. Who could believe they don't exist here already. This scheme would make that one much easier to execute though.

I like the Indian dude. He's smart. The black dude is ok too. The woman is a mole. Chris Christmas is a goose.

Trump and Indian or Black Dude.

The only ones you manage to identify with any attempt at some sort of proper name are "the white dudes".  Colour me unsurprised.

A mole- like as in a spy?

In my mind, this is one of those cases that really only has one outcome - you, the employer, approve it ….

true, maybe the employee didn’t have the necessary time “banked” to take leave (if they operate on that type of system), perhaps the hotel was always short-staffed… there could be lots of good, solid, factually verifiable circumstances for a denial.

But… in the court of public opinion, there’s only one possible and acceptable answer - yes.

The reality is that for cases like this (i am assuming it is as presented) you just can’t say no.. even if it leaves you short staffed… even if the employee didn’t follow all of the request protocols or didn’t have the necessary time banked/earned… you just can’t say no to a request to be with a dying parent, spouse or child… you just can’t.

Yes, I think it’s the morally right thing to do - to say yes.. but EVEN IF someone thought otherwise, even if they had good cause… the optics in saying no, would be so horrendously bad that you just can’t say no.

Surely just as it should be?  Denying a child access to their soon to be/ recently departed parent should not be on the whims of a corporate supervisor.  Such is a life changing moment and profit shouldn't hold sway.

Please, don't try to tell me what I'm thinking. I've explained a few times now.

If you don't agree, scroll on by. Don't try to tell me I'm not telling the truth.

I'm  not telling you what you are thinking.  I'm telling you that your behaviours are on display whether you admit it or not.  As I've said many times, I do understand your feelings about the matter.  On that note, thanks for the conversation but I don't think we'll agree so I'm bowing out.

    I cannot be seeking revenge.

Despite the despicable things this nurse has done, it does not affect me, my life or my family in anyway. There is no need or desire for me to seek revenge.

Likewise, she had been found not guilty, it would not affect me, my life or my family in any way

    Not true.

You can and you are.  Again, I understand it, but when you say "Just a miserable, lonely existence knowing everyone around her wants her dead."  it expresses the desire succinctly.   The justice system is rammed with revenge.  And again I'm not making comment on it.

However, should someone attack her, I wouldn't be too upset about it.

It's not for me to decide what form your anticipated revenge would take. Don't get me wrong- I do understand the desire, but I recognise it for what it is.

I really don't think the Republicans would make the claims they are making if no evidence has been found. Comer says their hearings have been frustrated by the slow pace, obstruction and stonewalling of the DOJ and FBI.  Any connection to President Biden may or not emerge once the oversight committee is given all of what it has requested - of course the way things have gone so far, if all that information ever gets to Comer, that would be a huge surprise.

But they don't only make the claim.  They make the claim and say they have proof which will be available any day soon, but no proof is ever forthcoming.
