I kinda figured any gyn can remove it...actually looked for some recommendations but I have an appointment in Bangkok Hospital now.

I have indeed a lot of pain lately although they did they ultrasound in Europe and couldn't find anything wrong with it...but after 4 years it has to come out sooner or later!

Wondering if any of you have any experience with removing an IUD [Mirena] in a clinic or hospital in Thailand?

I want mine removed since it gives me lots of pain and trouble lately although my doctor in europe said it was still fine.

I want to go back to the pill, does anyone knows what that would cost and do you need to get a new recept every 6 months or is it available in pharmacies?

I ve been on the move for weeks now havent had tim to investegate myself, any help would be appreciated!

I am planning a trip to Koh Chang this weekend and have a few questions. Should I bring my car over for transport? (I'd rather use songtiaws if they run regularly) It is an old Nissan Sunny running on propane. Are there any LPG stations on the island? The car is tough but it sounds like the roads are bad, especially with all the rain. Is the ferry ride very choppy? My friends tell me that if it rains anymore this week, the ferry ride would be dangerous and the trip would be a bad idea. I have enjoyed reading posts about the island; it sounds like a truly amazing place.
