  1. Hi Ko Chang is very small, no roads and very idylic. There is no pier so the boat gets near the beach and you have to wade in the last few yards. Most of the small resorts have a resteraunt atached and accom and food cheap and cheerful. just the place to relax and recharge the soul. KoPayam is a little larger with a few roads and some resorts with aircon and internet. You can still get a small bungalow on the beach very cheap and the waters are again beautiful. Mrs H2o and I used to go there for new year and just chill.Very nice people and un spoilt at the moment. In my opinion a lot nicer than Pi Pi. Enjoy

Euhm I think your mixing things up, Koh Chang is the second biggest island of Thailand, It has a paved road almost all the way around, there is plenty of [fast] internet and more then one pier...

Its part of the marine park in to wich 47 islands belong, a few of them fit your descibtion like Koh Kood, Koh Wai or maybe you mean Koh Samet?[anyhting but quiet though still no decent paved road...] The last one has a pier although you can take a speedboat to one of the beaches.

What is Koh Payam? You mean Koh Phangan? down south??

Both Koh Chang and Koh Payam are situated in Ranong Province.

Boy do I need to get updated [hehe on the other 46 islands :o ] never heard of it :D

  3. Reading this thread makes me wonder whether or not to bring my boots back to Thailand...their Black leather with wooden heel and leather sole...

I wouldnt wear them much only when visiting BKK, anyone any experience with this?? Dont want them to get mold or eaten by any kind of bug, untill now never had any problems with clothes or anything, keeping them relativly dry in a dark/dry closet but dont know for shoes only wear rubber flipflops and untill now [touch wood] they never been chewed on by anything...

    Don;t know about leather though!

  4. whats disappointing for me is

there hasnt been any photographs to ogle over!

cmon girls, if you can put all those men pics up (no comment about them HAHA), surely you can top those with sexy shoes that will have me drooling?

wheres Hush with her sexy shoes anyway? she still owe me that pair she has in her avatar!

what I have on today is this one, but in black colour rather than red :D

    Sexy, Mig!!! :o nice shoes

  5. The tap water in Bangkok is very hard and not very kind to sensative skin. You can buy better water for washing your face in those large 10 litre water containers you see around. Very cheap. Wash your face with this always and use a soap with the minimal amount of chemicals.

So its a good thing I dont live in Bangkok :o

But I think this goes for more places then only Bangkok and I do wash my face with bottled water...[not difference from when I washed it with tapwater though...]

Er...o.k.then , sorry for the assumption. How about diet ? Thai food, especially ' Ahahn Dtam Sang ' has a lot of oil in it. You said oily skin....do you mean in a sweaty way ? Maybe try not using anything for a while as with this heat your skin poors should be open more than in a cold climate......but then I'm a bloke , so what do I know about the niceties of makeup ? Goodluck with it anyhow. :D

Yeah I was thinking it might be food or oil used indeed, somebody told me that Pork can be bad for your skin, so didnt eat that for a while and try to watch out with oil...

    Thanks...keep u posted on my skin :D

  6. I think we have a winner in Chen Chang :o

    -----

ok..may i veer the topic a little to include the men we like who are generally considered unconventionally attractive..for me has to be guys like Rob Schneider, Gerard Depardieu, Jack Black, Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters)...thinking thinking..im sure there are MUCH more! :D

Kelly Jones [stereophonics] and the singer of the Incubus...although in his early days, nowadays he looks kinda Ill to me, in more then one way..unfortnatly!

  8. Hey,

The teatree oil is what a few people adviced me indeed...although I only found some creams with it, no cleaninglotion [do u know of any Mig?]

I avoid products with alcohol in it..

I did found a very good sunblock without alcohol or perfume!

    Especially for your face

I also use a day and night cream from Clarins [made for hotclimates!] its kind of a gel wich works for me!
