Day-trading Reddit readers nearly crashed the stock market. Now they’ve been packaged into a new ETF.
What are your thoughts?
My thoughts are, trees don't grow into heaven, and the boat only floats until it sinks.
Stock markets and crypto currencies have been way overvalued since the corona crisis started.
Gamblers on Reddit and other platforms have manipulated prices to unrealistic values. How can stocks be at all-time highs with a worldwide economy in the gutter, and no recovery in sight in the near future.
If you had a look at the stock market the last few days, you will see that a few major investors have bailed out on stocks like Tesla and Virgin Atlantic, among others.
Virgin Galactic Chairman Chamath Palihapitiya sells off remaining personal stake in the space company.

Tesla Megabull Ron Baron Says It Was 'Painful' To Sell 1.7M Shares

But the gamblers don't know about stopping yet.
I think the mother of all market crashes is closer than ever before, and may be on the cards before the end of this month.
What do you think?
You better not look at the latest bubble then, some virtual land prices are going up %100s. I brought some nice land in Thailand, part of a gold mine in South Africa and a tin pit in Mexico that's all slowly rising.
Nothing invested I can't afford to lose

The world has stood by and watched the poor people of Myanmar suffer for decades under the military boot.
Can't see anyone helping them soon, no oil or strategic importance, only the Chinese can sort this out, and they won't

'Stan and Ollie'. Yep that's right. A brilliant BBC film depicting Laurel & Hardy's last tour together in the UK and Ireland. Wonderful acting that was so much 'in character' I could almost believe it was really them.
It it's also quite a moving story about the latter part of their lives together. Well worth watching.
Available on BBC iPlayer for 11 months.
Yes I agree very good. Also, there is a great one out there called Eric and Ernie on the lives of those two comedians. The guy that played Eric was brilliant and earned a BAFTA

If it was 100 per cent free and no one was making a profit I would be more inclines to believe their motives.
I am not stupid and I know about the real benefits and tried and tested vaccines against really dangerous diseases. But I don't class covid 19 as such as it is now.
2.5 million deaths and you don't class it as dangerous, that's dangerous thinking in itself, thousands of healthy fit people have caught it and died as per Stargrazer9889 post above.
I imagine every time a child gets its measles, mumps and other shots someone makes a profit. It's the way of the world, they spent millions developing the jabs they have to charge for it
We all need to do our part to stamp the disease out so we can get back to living normally, and I can get back to Thailand???? The vaccination will save you from hospitalization at the least, imagine how much that would cost you in Thailand?

Me too. I only got basic shots when I was born. None since then apart from anti rabies jabs when I got bitten by a sock looking dog here.
I had a lot of the common kids diseases. Got over then all quickly and no lasting effects. Had chicken pox, measles, mumps etc.
Now I am 45 years old and have not been ill with a virus since I was a kid. I have never had the flu and rarely get a cold. I just make sure I am reasonably active, don't eat too much junk / processes food, don't smoke or do drugs and don't overeat.
Me also, but I have had the first dose in the UK.
You will find it hard to travel, get into events, renew visas and probably get limited access to pubs and restaurants without the vaccine in the next few years, so the choice is yours.

Steak is a common way for westerners to eat blood. Referring to the link in the OP Americans in particular are usually conditioned against eating blood and offal. Personally I think medium rare is best but if it arrives in a pool of blood I find that disgusting.
As far as the reasons people have for being vegetarian, there are a number that are common and make some sense. I have yet to meet a vegetarian that says the main reason is to avoid eating blood.
There is absolutely no blood in a rare steak.

Lived high floor in JPC in 2000 for a year, loved "Kaffe" restaurant on the corner, very handy, they used to play great videos and had football on TV, but the condo was too noisy for me. Early hours music booming out from parked up trucks, and the screaming from the banana boats was dreadful all day. Fireworks all year round in those days as well.

Pound soars to near-three year high vs dollar in Brexit boost - and could go even higher
THE POUND surged above $1.39 for the first time in almost three years today, lifted by rising Brexit optimism, broad-based dollar weakness and hopes for the end of a third national lockdown.

Sure keep on dreaming, bad news is piling up and all the Brexiteers can do is saying.. the news is bias or this is just teething problems. Listening to the people who know in the business is not a thing Brexiteers on this forum can do. They ignore the experts and have nothing to back up their claim. I want to see just one article showing how good Brexit has been or a report from a Think tank showing Brexit is a good idea.
I know its over and done with but the least the die hard anti EU people could admit all the problems there are. But they just ignore them and say its false news. Kinda Trumpish.

It was a silly idea. I suspect it will all end badly for the UK.
Sorry your wrong, it will end up badly for the EU, The UK will boom when C19 is over and the world reopens, the EU will be slow to respond and change

Did anyone drink in "Lovescene" when it was on Soi Cowboy? it would be open way after every other bar closed serving food, had some strange nights in there, with odd characters turning up way into the night. Many journalists from the Post and Nation used it as it would always be open.
Still going in a different format on soi 23, still open late but mainly for food
Great thread by the way
