That's the one. Officially announced in a document of 2012. Khurusapha uses the database of The Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC) and the OCSC doesn't keep a database of US universities. However, the whole thing of the OCSC's database and The World of Almanac is a bit outdated as you need to submit your university's verification letter when applying for the teacher license.

Samsung software updates will be either limited or finished

That's the problem with Android in general. The life cycle of the device's software is officially 2 years.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 9. It runs on the latest software for this model. Android 10 and One UI 2.0.

In the Galaxy S series, Samsung has promised three years of Android updates to all Galaxy S10, Galaxy S20, and Galaxy S21 variants. Sadly, the Galaxy S9 series isn’t included in the list. This means that Android 10 would be the last update for the S9 and S9 Plus, given that they launched with Android Oreo.

As for the Galaxy S10 series, you can expect Android 12 to be its last update. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S20, S20 Plus, and S20 Ultra, and S20 FE are in line to get Android 13 in the future. The Galaxy S21 phones launched with Android 11 so they should get updates till Android 14.

I also have a Samsung Galaxy S5 running Android 6.0. Well, it's still running well.

The seller has confirmed that it is genuine via the Lazada chat so if it is a fake I think I have a good chance of a refund.  Lazada have been helpful (?) in the past about returning counterfeit goods.

I don't think it's fake but what worries me is the 5G specification. Different countries use different 5G bands. AFAIK is the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G a device for the n78 network. Many countries are using this network except Thailand. AIS and Truemove are using the n41 network.

So you have to find out whether the S10 5G you ordered can be used on the 5G networks used in Thailand.

Looks to me irresistible. Isn't that even way better then the current True 1 GB offer? We are currently at a TOT 500MB/100MB promotion and pay 908.43 Baht/month. The new promotion looks way better. We're going to our TOT office today to find out and change.

I changed the package from 400/400 to 1Gb/500 in May 2020 and pay less money. However, the download speed of 1Gb is virtually impossible to achieve. It reaches on average 400-700 Mb. Upload of 500 Mb is reached often. So, in all, good choice to change the package because it's better and cheaper.

Won't need a 5th as I'm due to get Thai citizenship in a couple of months. Now do I need a teachers license as a Thai?

No, you don't need one because unlike Thai teachers, you are not a government employee but are hired on year-to-year basis.

Notice that the USA is not even on that list?  That is because there is no accreditation done by the US Federal Government.  Accreditation is done at the regional state level.

For the accreditation of USA universities the World Almanac has to be used. I remember this from rules set by the TCT ages ago.

I know, it's so weird right? My university in the Netherlands is also not accredited yet it's one of the biggest in the country. Meanwhile all crappy Philippine universities are on the list.

The Office of the Civil Service Commission which is the accrediting institution in Thailand, does't reckognize any Dutch educational institution providing bachelor degree education or higher other than the original research universities as mentioned in their list. While European countries already in 1999 agreed through the Bologna Declaration on comparability in the standards and quality of higher-education qualifications, the OCSC still doesn't consider the Dutch HBO (Higher Professional Education institutions) as accredited degree providers. The NUFFIC, asked by the Royal Dutch Embassy in Thailand, had a look into this back in 2011 but reported back that it's all up to the OCSC.

A Diploma in teacher education should do the trick for you. Usually offered by a Filipino organization in Bangkok.

I'm not sure if this will work as the rules state:

    (c) Have a degree in another field and a graduate diploma in teaching profession with 1 year of course study

and mentioned degree and graduate diploma still have to be accredited by the OCSC.

The earlier screen capture of yours in post#3 did not distinguish on satellite constellations which is why I did a screen dump of the RINEX logger app although at the time it couldn't see any Galileo.

The earlier screenshot is a screenshot showing Galileo satellites only.

No Galileo satellite system this arvo for me, but plenty of the other 4 constellations available to my 4 year old phone.

Most probably, the GNSS chip in your mobile phone is not capable of receiving Galileo (Europe) satellite signals. It can receive GPS (USA), QZSS (Japan), Glonass (Russia) and BDS (China).

Here in Belgium there are two types of bachelor's degrees. One is awarded by a college and is of lesser value and the other is the academic bachelor awarded by a university.

Which one do the Thai government officials mean?

The professional bachelor (the first one) or the academic bachelor (the second one)?

I could get the professional bachelor in a year of time through a shortened trajectory. It wouldn't be a university degree though. Here in Belgium it would be awarded by a college.

If your educational institution is not on the list below, it's not accredited by the Teachers' Council of Thailand.

International schools and government schools require a teachers certificate which requires a Bachelors degree for teachers, but there are other titles that may get around the issue. TEFL plus some experience is no longer acceptable in most schools in Bangkok.

Getting a work permit and extension of stay based on employment as a teacher in OBEC schools (K12 schools), requires you to have a temporary teaching permit/ provisional teaching permit/ waiver issued by The Teachers' Council of Thailand. To get one you need to hold a bachelors degree or higher from an accredited university.
