If you have a legal permit, getting a gun is not illigal... but I think it's hard to get a permit as a Farang, anybody knows more?

I agree that samui is a dump! So I wanted to stay in koh phangan to have what samui has lost. But now they do the same shit here. So where do we go now...?

I have signed up for the Internet service on my mobile phone, I sometimes use it as a modem for my computer as our DSL is extremely spotty.

Anyway, I live in Ban Kai and have gotten an EDGE signal here on my phone since I bought it in June. But, in Thong Sala, I got a GPRS signal (I checked, I was curious) and we were told that Koh Phangan did not have EDGE so I must have been getting my signal from the tower in Samui while at our house.

Well, at least as of today, I can receive an EDGE signal in Thong Sala. The difference is quite noticeable and its pretty fast. Not DSL fast, but still better than my dial up was.

And for those who want to know how I know, when the signal is EDGE, I get an E and when its GPRS, I get a G on my phone display.
