Same. My Thai wife can almost always get a good price. I tell friends that visit to take a tuk-tuk once for the novelty, then avoid them like the plague unless you don't mind paying the inevitable inflated price or being taken somewhere the driver gets a commission. Not to defend the grifter overcharging, but even the "tourist" price is still dirt cheap compared to taxi prices in most people's home countries.

I'm not much of a pot smoker, but a couple of puffs before bed sure helps me fall asleep faster and sleep longer.

Cabin crews are instructed not to help lift baggage for passengers, it's a leading cause of injury in the industry. If you can't lift the bag yourself, pay the damn checked baggage fee.

The weaker Baht is at least helping with inflation here. I think I can speak for most people who receive monthly income from overseas, we're not complaing.
