  1. I have no idea what an "official marking vote tallies behind overlapping score sheets" means.
  2. I'm sure if he looked up, he would have seen the camera as well.
  3. Thailand's main religion is 400 times less repressive than Malaysia's main religion.
  4. Possessing 9 kilos is a slam dunk for convicting him of possession for sales or distribution.
  5. Both. He was high on meth, and was carrying 59 Trump-faced ecstasy tablets for "personal use."
  6. I'm out almost everyday in Bangkok, and just once have I ever smelled weed. It was coming from a home along the Saen Saeb Canal. It smelled like the good stuff, and I certainly didn't get a 2nd hand buzz from it. Darn.
  7. Maybe a little to be concerned with. As with anyone who served in the military, they are trained to kill.
  8. When your country's national sport is Muay Thai, you learn to fight with fists, elbows, knees, feet, etc.. If you're dumb enough to get in fights, using your feet as well as fists seems like a smarter way to fight.
  9. I don't blame the seller for not wanting the used shaver sent back. At least you'll know they won't try to sell it again. Throw it away or clean it up and give it to someone you don't like much.
  10. Actually, he needs to worry about the quality of food, board and medical care he'll receive in his old age. His life will be a living hell.
  11. If she had consumed some weed, she would have been too lazy to go swimming.
  12. Coffee too, because it's so hard to find in Thailand.
  13. People like him are why they call it DOPE.
  14. He had more than just cannabis, kind of a one-stop shop for all your drug needs.
  15. Everyone who didn't build their house, condo, etc. themselves.
  16. I like the bare midriff fashion statement. Always a good look for a man of his stature.
  17. I'm not assuming he disappeared with some girl, maybe he disapppeared with some guy.
  18. A few will make money, hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people will destroy their lives.
  19. I've been driving a car in Bangkok almost everyday for 20 yrs., and have never been hit by a motorbike. I also ride a motorbike and yeah, I've nicked a few mirrors, but never broke or damaged one. Btw, love your profile pic.
  20. "the foreigners asked him to take them to a supermarket for a currency exchange." The foreigners requested the ride to the currency exchange, it's not the taxi driver's fault they didn't have enough Baht. When you ask a taxi driver to take you somewhere, you pay the fare.
  21. I had my bike locked in Bangkok years ago, it cost me 200 Baht to get it unlocked. Even if these brainiacs had to pay 1,000 Baht, it would be a whole lot cheaper and no risk of spending the night in a Thai jail.
  22. I remember someone in Amsterdam telling me that one big reason cannabis is "tolerated," is that pot smokers rarely cause problems. IMO, no one belongs in jail for smoking weed.
