Well I have a 2 storey house already in Bangkok and I also have a big block of land, thanks to the father inlaw.

The father inlaw has a huge construction business, so we are thinking of building units there and renting them out.

The land I have is in Nongkam which is pretty much on the outer BKK.

Thats our plan and also finding a job as a teacher part time and running a small tourist business.

But I just want to see what other would do, I will have abit more then 5 million as i have money that I dont want to touch (for a rainy day) but 5 million is the max I want to spend

While the initial story and all the fun and games were well deserved, actually identifying the guy and putting his photo up for all to see goes a bit too far.

After all, he is not a Pedophile, that we know of and they well deserve the public exposure, but this guy did nothing to deserve his photo plastered on one of the biggest websites in the world for all to see.

I happen to be one person who saw the photo, I also happen to be one person who recognises the guy from elsewhere. How many other people actually know who he is and what he does ?

Not nice to go that far me thinks. The initial adventure was fun and should have been continued without photos and videos etc.

I believe they have, or are going to abolish that ruling. I thought I read in the paper that they had already culled it, but check for sure first.

If he was my friend, I would advise him to bring what he needs initially and leave the balance in UK till he decides what he wants to do. For example, buy a home first, then settle on what he wants to do, rather than bring it all here and then find out it ain't as rosy as he had thought.

My adsl was cutting out several times a day a couple of weeks ago.

We called tot and they sent staff around within 30 minutes and fixed it.

But, there seems to be a much bigger problem.....I am consistantly getting 80/100kb ps from my internet connection...surely something is wrong !!!!!!

As an example, it took 10 seconds to download a 3mg file today, yesterday I dowloanded a pile of music in a few minutes.

Actually I really hate the obnoxious people who can speak thai very well, yet feel the need to criticise the people who are learning thai and need to practice it. Regardless of one word at a time or not.

Fortunately the people I know that speak thai very well are usually very understanding of this.
