He's been backed significantly and keeps leaving his expensive signings on the bench and playing Fellaini.
I don't even know what Fred looks like.

"not by much". we literally had to give you your goal and we had 36 shots. but you carry on ostrich lad.

I think you might be right. Let's face it, a guy thats won what he has surely cannot be as tactically inept, can he? He single handedly created a mismatch that a shrewd manager like Klopp would undoubtedly expose, which of course he did. It was effectively game over. What was he thinking?
Perhaps he and Mendes are going a "Chelsea exit scam" on United and this is the start of severance negotiations. And we all know what a ruthless sh*thouse character he is!!!
you've got a £90m world cup winning midfielder on your bench and you need to change a game and you put on the lad david moyes bought and go dave bassett wimbledon tactics. it's laughable. united fans should be furious with mourinho but loads of them seem to still be giving him the benefit and blaming the players. but, you know, long may it continue. ????

that was hugely enjoyable. we're very good and they are very, very poor. worst united side i have seen in many years that, and most damningly the manager just didn't seem particularly bothered.
props to clyne for a great performance after so long out, van dijk had lukaku in his pocket while even in second gear, andy robertson is the best left-back in the world and fabinho was MOTM and now a starter.
beating man united really shouldn't be that easy, 36 bloody shots, utter domination and a 3-1 spanking where we even had to give them their goal. but hey, we'll take it. up the reds.

Best of luck, but tugboat Fabinho at RB dealing with Rashford and/or Martial ? Cue the laugh track.
Even so, and inform Salah likely to score enough goals to weather the storm.
As a City fan I should be rooting for Man United, but can't bring myself to do it.
think defence will be milner - lovren - van dijk - robertson against the glams.

this on the back of gomez being out is harsh. matip's looked good too. maybe makes letting klavan go look a mistake in hindsight. have to play milner there, i'm sure he could.

am thoroughly enjoying the new big night out shows. ????
yeah we had a mad number of attempts and chances last night really. mane wouldn't have scored in a month of fridays though.

dupe.
that said, another clean sheet. 15 from last 19 games at anfield. amazing stuff.

Looks like Lovren at the weekend....Matip taken to hospital with shoulder injury
yeah that is annoying, he's been playing well. no prognosis on him yet? a lovren brainfart against united is the last thing we need.
some nervous game that but when you look at it in the cold light of day we were actually pretty much in control of it, had loads of attempts and missed a bundle of chances, and the first real action alisson had to have was in injury time, albeit it was phenomenal and we now have our best goalkeeper since ray clemence.
hopefully mane is saving his finishing for them pillocks on sunday and also hopefully trent and milner are not too badly knocked. andy robertson is the best left-back in the world by the way.

i think, for some reason, that we're going to roll them. play at pace, really go for them, and just batter them.

excellent three points that. what a goalkeeper we've got, him on that third goal was fantastic stuff.

certain of the everton fans chanting "murderers" and then letting off a blue flare in the 95th minute to celebrate their getting a point. well in lads. karma is red.
we really didn't play very well and the midfield continues to be a problem as does bobby's form but frankly who cares? delighted for origi after what that sh*thouse thug funes mori did to him.

Yes it would be an improvement, he was very knowledgeable too, and i doubt that old school Arsenal fan "Maximuss" was ever going to win a Pulitzer for his posting.
Have to say, i think we are in for a couple of fascinating derbies today. Can really see Fulham causing too many troubles for Chelsea but the other two are very interesting.
yeah mate can see the north london derby being an interesting battle of wits but as for the merseyside derby, nah, we're going to batter the blue pricks.

why should football industry be the one and only field in which investments are limited ? And i beleive if Klopp had the financial means to enrol Neymar or Mbappé he would do so...
cheers
because it's not an industry, it's a sport. the playing field is supposed to be at least relatively level.

I think that Yesterday PSG was merely better than LFC and deserved to win the game, that's all. And dont forget that in Liverpool, Paris lost only at the very last minute. After all, not so bad for "sh*thouses" isn't it ?
I hope LFC will qualify for 1/8, because it's a great team with top players and coach though yesterday not at its best.
cheers,
fred
i think with the best part of 500m euros up front PSG should really be better than liverpool and should probably have won by more than 2-1.
neymar's acting leaves a bad taste in the mouth, he's gone from being a bit daft to a complete idiot these days sadly. just not enjoyable to watch because of his antics. veratti should have been sent off as well of course.
i hope PSG get punished for their blatant financial doping and breaching FFP rules, but there you go. ????
bonne chance fred.

PSG players carried on like absolute <deleted>, particularly in the second half.
Klopp got his tactics wrong, that midfield of yesteryear is not good enough.
Bring on Napoli, 1-0 at Anfield, piece of piss.
yeah bit disappointing all over wasn't it bob, our performance, their histrionics, jurgen's set-up. PSG are right sh*thouses but i expect better than that from us.
yeah, beat napoli at home in the last match to go through. since when did we ever do anything easy when we could do it dramatically?

the game has evolved and mourinho hasn't. the best teams now play high intensity pressing games, attacking football and get results from it. his conservative don't lose philosophy doesn't wash any longer and his players look utterly fed up of it. because they want to be playing, or at least attempting to play, the same way man city do, barcelona do, dortmund do, even how liverpool do. exciting, fun football that wins matches. rather than dull, turgid tedium and hope fellaini gets on the end of something we lob into the box.
good to see he hasn't given up his habit of making things all about him last night though. that throwing the water bottles thing at the end was really quite pathetic.

I'm feeling two things here....the sentences handed out are a joke for a start.
Also the funding of rehab is a pittance compared to the money paid to players in a week.
yeah it's a horrible story this. and if it turns out that the club aren't doing enough to help him and his family while they've given 250k to richard scudamore's golden handshake there will be hell to pay.

Personally i can never remember how to spell his name!
it's "big virg" mate. like you lot with toby, the surname isn't worth the effort.

A good win in the end, tough place to go against a well drilled team. I don't think the score was a fair reflection of the match, we were sweating it until that second goal.
Brilliant that we are still managing to push City and keep them honest for the meantime. So good to watch our team break clean sheet records and goals conceded after being known as <deleted> in defense only 6 months ago. VvD is the greatest defender ever, Becker is sensational, and Andy Robertson is the best left back on Earth. Big up yourself to deadball Trent!
More win WINE and a bit or Rugby!
yeah weird match wasn't it? scoreline seemed harsh on watford who played well, particularly first half, but then our quality told in the end.
van dijk just continues to look like the best centre back in the world and that's in his second gear. good to see bobby break his drought as well.
agree about the wine. less so about the rugby.

yeah thought fulham gave a good account of themselves and didn't look like a side who are rock bottom of the division. decent three points from us without playing too well and with a few lads having an off day. really enjoying watching shaqiri, he's a right little bundle of energy.
