Personally, I wont give a dam_n if I get slapped by a women and them not expecting a equal slap in return. They have the god given rights of equality and yet they expect us to take the slap like a "gentlemen" and get away with it. And not to mention the fking crowd will go against you if you gave a return slap and get away with it.

Not only this, but for instance, if you did not offer your friend (women) to hold her heavy items, you are instantly looked down upon by fellow friends and the girl herself. Since when is not offering any kind of assistance (open doors, carry her stuff, letting her get things first) considered a taboo??

Need an insight into this, I've reached several points where I encounter this and a similar situation. Regardless if it's a slap or a shove.

Note: I've never ever slapped a lady before, nor engaged in physical aggression. I've always been a kind person to ladies and offering help and taking sacrifices for them. However, it came to a point where these things are taken for granted by them.

Farang is a bit impolite.....

but "rang" itself can be very impolite. Sometimes Thais amongst themselves may refer you as "Ai Rang", and that is very impolite. It's the equivalent of calling you "That cracka" or "white boy".

Driving along Sukhumvit road to the intersection of Asoke rd. you will notice a farang looking kid, a light browned-hair boy and girl, wiping car windows at the traffic light. Every time I stop there, I always see them, and they seem to remember my car since I always gave them some money without a window wipe. But I never got a chance to talk to them or ask questions.

Anyone know of their status? Where's the dad? Did a farang bastard came to Thailand and made 2 kids leaving them to fend for themselves?

ATMs, banks, workplaces, ISPs, mobile couriers, communications media will all adjust their time accordingly to the new time otherwise will risk facing fines.

Yeah, seriously, i also hate it at times.... I'm half german/thai and so every now and again I have these gatherings with my thai family side. I just had dinner on Mother's day with 15 peeps.

They always talk about "I know this person who knows that person who knew this person somewhere" or "I got connections with this person or that person and I can hook you up with them".... anything that are related to status symbols, like cars, jobs, career.

That also reminded me this time when I was having a street side noodle in Sukhumvit and overhearing 4 Thai ladies talking about how much money their "Farang Pua" (farang BFs) have, while one of the girl was saying that her old farang husband was sick and this could mean an inheritance for her.

Green tea pushes water out of your system faster. Is this a good thing? Maybe, but certainly not good for muscle builders since muscles contains lots of water.

Another thing that I hate when people discuss about green tea as health benefits, it's full of irony and hypocrites (not the people in here of course).

I've seen people who talk about health benefits of green tea and yet they still smoke a pack a day and drive 180kmh on the highway, or two overweighted ladies discussing on exercising regime and flushing it down with green tea drinks and green tea deserts topped with whipped cream.

Dont know about you guys, but green tea feels like a cliche' just as much as how we talk about green things, them going green, us going green.

Oh, and iced green tea tastes so dam_n good, especially with whipped cream

Thai malls are not air conditioned, dam_n humid and hot, usually covered with tin metal roofs that at least blocks the rain but does'nt keep the rats out. You need to walk a dozen km to the nearest mall, if you're lucky, otherwise we need to peddle on a 2-wheeler all the way far South for any.

The question is... was it really 2 hours??? considering internet cafes are not allowed to service underage that late in the night.

another possible theory: The kid hopped from a different internet cafe before servicing that particular shop at 1:40am which could easily tally the number of computer hours to more than a dozen. Since some shops do happen to close a bit earlier than others.
