I am not a doctor and so not qualified to give medical advice,

but I have lived in Thailand for 9 years never take any Malaria

precautions and have never had any problems.

I also do not know anyone who has had a problem and my circle of friends must total about 100 years of residence in Thailand.

My advice is to worry about STD not Malaria

My American friends ATM card expired  years ago and can no longer be used for purchases in a shop, however it will still work in an ATM machine with the PIN number.

He continues to use an expired card as it is  good security.

If you stay off the booze and women you will be able to manage on 10,000 per month.

Suggest you go to another immigration office and start again.

The Customs officier will not be interested in your invoice.

They use their own valuations.

I have visited the impounded car lot at Khlong Tuey and seen all the hundreds of confiscated cars.

Millions of dollars have been lost, don't add to it with your money.

I now live up north in Phrae, have been here for eight years and much prefer it to the buzz of the city.

House rental here is only 3000 month for a decent house,
