  1. Ooh sorry! One from Germany, and there's one from Belgium too! Wow. Most are from the USA and most are from 2014. None feature top muslim leaders loudly and openly condemning terror through national media.
  2. But still not nearly radical enough to go round whirling a blade at people's necks.
  3. Article? Just a list of old local stories from small groups in the USA, mainly about just two events. The OP concerns Europe. Objection overruled.
  4. New? Mostly to me, but why? These voices are welcome but mainly local and without much individual power or range. The top guys need to condemn any violence or bad acts, loudly and clearly on national media. They should be demonstrating in numbers at least as large as these at pro Palestinian marches.
  5. I have to assume that the OP author is a "brown, Muslim European" as well as a so-called "progressive" European. Perhaps if Muslims were to relent from hacking people to death in the streets of Europe, then this "rise of the 'far right' and, 'pervasive racism and xenophobia'" might have not come to the fore. If the majority of Muslims who do not practise these bad acts, which are anything but progressive, were to loudly condemn them, then that would push this rise back even more. Just, diverse and tolerant civilizations need these values instilled from within each member group.
  6. Well, that's what I was getting at in my own sarcastic way. Labour fans always draw the line at exactly 14 years ago but Blarism was not at all moderate, in reality,
  7. This is one good example of why overall tax revenues derived from expat retiree spending are likely to fall quite a bit. Hope you get the new Roller soon.
  8. Why do you specify this one million baht?
  9. Correction to the above: should read The story then goes on to call 13,000ft an “extreme” altitude......
  10. I guess the only option is to have brekky about two hours after dinner, then. The story describes clear-air turbulence as occurring at high altitudes where aircraft “cruise” – cruising levels for commercial international flights are typically 30-40 thousand feet. The story then goes on to call 13,00ft an “extreme” altitude – probably is – but that’s just for the birds!. The SQ flight arrived over southern Myanmar coincident with the very early arrival of the eastern extension of the SW Monsoon (in the same area) and this surge caused rare and very unstable weather conditions over the Andaman Sea, plus heavier rain in central Thailand last week. I just hope that not too much grant cash will be wasted on this study.
  11. From your own source: It specifies national debt - not deficit - like you should have done. See where it says Covid? The debt trend even before the pandemic was unremarkable compared previous years. Meanwhile, under Biden, the debt has surged another 6.5T$. So, now, we can all see who is truly deluded here.
  12. Are you dreams full of fantasy balloons? There was no heavy speninding until Covid. Biden just carried on after the virus left the building.
  13. A big drop. Amazing what can be achieved in election year. Backtracking. Hopefully too late.
  14. Superior intellect? Biden keeps busily spending dollars that have to be printed or borrowed - the US economy is already heading for a fall now because of that and all the previous years of easy money since the GFC. Your Commander-In-Sleep is hoping that Trump will get all the blame.
