It does not have to be a regulation , it's what the IO says it is , not all offices 

require this ,some only 6 months , the 12 month requirement came about when

Big Joke came to Chiang Mai Immigration to clear up the corruption that was

going on there at the time, 

People were using agents , who were putting the 400 K or 800 K into the bank

of the people who were using the agent for only one day ,till they got the Visa

then taking it back , so they were getting extensions/visa with no money in the bank.

So if you don't believe anyone go to the IO and ask them , you might prove yourself

right or not , at least you will get it from the horse's mouth ....

You can buy suitable aerials at Amorn , not expensive easy to install

just plug it in and move it around till you get good picture ,think ours

is pointed in eastern direction Chiang Mai. if your TV does not have

the box installed ,you will have to buy one ,also Amorn ...

Some brave Police there, anyone who can afford a Bentley ,have

connections and influence , expect these lads will be moved to the South.

This must be for leather industry as who is going to be buying

the tough as old shoes beef , I have given up on Thai beef 

years ago ,and like other things they promote it's going to

lead to an oversupply .

You need 12 months statement ,like the Agents and I have already told you, 

Your at Bangkok Bank , you need to ask for statement 5-7 days before you

need it ,as has to come from Bangkok head office  cost 200 Baht

Do what the providers always tell you .. pull the plug on the router

leave off for 5 mins ..plug back in see if that works , I also have

NT Fiber and its working OK , only problem I get is squirrels 

chewing the wires along the road.
