  1. There is a brand new Gym just opened yesterday opposite Foodland on Pattayaklang - it looks very nice, with training for Martial Arts, Judo, Muay Thai ect.. All new equipment and also air con - the sign on the door said 4.500 per month. Looks like there are 4 or 5 floors - good luck.

Expensive, i used to pay less then that at my gym in Chiswick, London and that was as 5 star as you could get for the location.

  2. Post my thoughts here? Ok.. I wish I didn't eat that cheese burger today I feel uneasy. I sware I thought that was a real woman at the supermarket today but I was wrong. Oh shit that crazy cat is meowing again. I wonder if anyone would get upset if I killed it. hmmm should I drink that last Pepsi in the fridge :o

    Deep thinker i see.

  3. If you can walk in Pattaya for hours and not see a hot chick then you're probably not into Thai chicks (or blind). I see hot chicks everywhere in Pattaya.

I prefer the Bangkok model girl look, theyre in short supply wandering the streets of Pattaya.

I was in a gym in the Philippines recently (an upmarket gym) which had signs that any sexual advances of any kind should be reported to management and perpertrators would be expelled from the gym. I like this philosophy. Gyms are for training, not for finding dates..and in actual fact you could be a bother for many girls who go there to train

Im not intending to go flashing my bits, just its nice to look and i like the chase as opposed to payment up front.

Most hot chicks are not single.

I wont grass them up for cheating.

  4. Well said James.

Berbatov, think Cantona but, please as much as you hate United, can you not think of anything better than.................I can't bring myself to type it....! :o

That was the point i was trying to get across, Cantona as good as he was wasnt an out and out goalscorer and neither is Berbatov, ManU had Andy Cole to do that job for them when they played together.

Tevez, Rooney and Berbatov arent out and out goalscorers they ideally play just off a forward, whereas a similar player to Van Nistleroy is.

  5. Seems as if all todays press is anyhting to go by that Berbatov is on his way to Manu.

    http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,1...3974138,00.html

Whilst i dont watch much football other then my own team and i hate to say it Manu (they are good to watch), would i be right in thinking that Berbatov is a similar kind of player to Rooney and Tevez? i.e. not an out and out striker which i thought Manu were after.

From this point of view why have 3 similar kinds of forwards no matter how good they are, a bit of variety is the spice of life.

  6. Come on, where have you been the last 20 years, just from memory; Euro 2000 the English team almost were send home because of the " fans"..remember? ??

    Thats a blatant lie.

My friend was in a bar in Brussels drinking the police came in arrested everyone after spraying CS gas in the bar and deported them back to England....he worked for Amex in Amsterdam at the time and isnt a villain.

Maybe it is because you are not in Europe on the mainland, but whenever the the British mob comes over it is "party time" for them. They are scum, no other words for them.

I live in England and drink with 2 top boys who were close to C18, the people who run the show(when it come to England) these people were there in there 20s Spain 1982 and know exactly whats going on.

No more hooliganism or English disease as it is sometimes called?? No, sorry B. egg , but we disagree

If you get 10,000 - 70,000 men together, pour them full of drink some will fight for the fun of it, now and forever.

It happens in every country but still the Brits really take the cake.

Id say the England supporters are more likely to then Welsh, Irish or Jocks purely due to numbers and reputation.

Sometime I have the feeling they still want to live up to the old name and times when it was really really bad.

It has become les we can agree on that, but it for sure is not over, or doesn't exist anymore.

It doesnt exist on Saturdays in Premier League games, the old bill are too on top, unless the odd unorganised ruck is football violence, IMO its not.

DRUNKEN FOOLS ON A NIGHT OUT ARE THE PROBLEM NOT FOOTBALL HOOLIGANS, BESIDES IF 2 ORGANISED TEAMS OF SUPPORTERS MEET FOR A FIGHT WHATS WRONG WITH THAT?

  7. I may be young, but not that gullible or naïve - to the point that I let everything I see or hear blinding me, without applying some common sense first.

I'm looking at the case from a person with some common sense.

Lots of people with lots of common sense make lots of mistakes, seems as if this guy biggest mistake was to put his trust into somebody.

When you get to 60 and are alone as this guy was maybe you'll make the same mistake.

  8. Does WOW attract many little hot females to inspire me whist working out?

In a place like Pattaya why would you need to look at hot females while you work out? Take a break for an hour or so, it won't do you any harm.

I can walk for hours in Pattaya and not see what i class as a hot chick, however these fancy new gyms seem to be a good locator of girls who look after themselves in the UK maybe its the same in LOS.

  9. I think it's pretty much the same demographic. 30-60 years old. Skinhead haircuts. Tattoos. Thick necks. Social inadequates who's idea of making the locals understand them is to speak in their native accent even lounder, liberally sprinkled with a 'faaaaark orffff you asian c**t.'

    Charming people really.

I have a skinhead and thickneck but the last time i was in BKK it was 4 middle class, ex-pat executive types grabbing some young girl in an after hours bar and putting her in extreme distress making trouble, hence i had to get her to sit by me and make it clear not to do it. (the fact she's a pro makes no difference you dont treat people like this)

There is no denying the British have a drink, violence and respect problem, but its people from every walk of life, from 14 yo schoolgirls to 50 yo exec types.

As for the comment about British football hooliganism, youre about 20 years too late for that, there are no football hooligans anymore.

  10. I am coming to Thailand for 3 months and for the first month im looking to get back into my boxing and am looking for a serviced studio apartment near Tony's Gym on 3rd road or one close to California WoW on 2nd Rd.

The place needs to be fairly new and have an internet connection and preferably about 15k or less a month if that is possible. If anyone knows of such a place within 10 minutes walk to either of these places your info would be appreciated.

Also for the gym i need decent punch bags preferably a variety, i know Tony's has these outside but what are the bags like at WoW and do they have punch pads, speed balls and further boxing equipment (and a calf exercise machine)?

  11. Most of the countries on this planet wont have extradition agreements with Thailand, though i believe Britain has.

So the fact that he chose the UK over all those other places shows that he and his team of advisors are confident the British govt. wont extradite him or his wife.

Pinochet stayed for a long time and never done any time and he was a far bigger villian then Thaksin.

  12. Why are we even concerned with managers/owners of what are in effect brothels? They are the equilivent of pond-scum and I for one don't give a wit when one of them runs afoul of the law or some of the local boys!

I know Bar/GoGo owners whom are total gemtlemen - and do a lot for local charities. Anyone who generalizes as you do is ignorant - no more than pond scum :o

Lots of criminals and thoroughly bad people give money to charities it doesnt make them good.

The gogo bar owners ive met do seem to be slightly shady geezers and i prefer to generalise as im prejudice towards everyone other then white English working class males, generalising makes my life and thought process far easier, however id sooner be in farang run bar then a Thai owned bar as i know where i stand with the farang.

Notnew2you, if it wasnt for respectable people like me and you going to these places then these pond-scum as you call them wouldnt exist, so maybe we're all pond-scum.

As for the guy who got a slap, if you run a bar/brothel in Walking Street for a long period of time, even if youre the most saintly chap on the planet there is a very good chance trouble will find you eventually, as after all theyre making money from prostitution, its not exactly the most honest business on the planet.

  13. I personally don't just believe something just because it appears in a newspaper, and I try to see through the bias that is present in all newspapers. At the end of the day these people are just about selling newspapers and sensationalism sells. Of course, some people prefer to be just 'fed' the news.

He was killed by his wifes lover who has confessed this point is "just news", a witness was told by police that he was going to be killed, if he is to be believed this is "just news", he was in court trying to claim assets back that his wife ALLEGEDLY sold without his knowledge this is "just news"(easily verified), and he sent samples of a drink to be tested for poison this is "just news"(easily verified).

Im not too sure in what way they can write an article of this nature that wouldnt come across as sensational.

  14. 269 deaths seems a lot.

The UK does have severe problem with getting mortally drunk and its worse when theyre in the sunshine, the women are worse then the men in the towns and cities of the UK, probably due to the fact womens bodies cant handle alcohol aswell as mens.

I dont think the Brits are any better or worse then others in LOS.

  15. It comes as no surprise that many would use this man's death to bash Thailand. This type of thing happens all around the world and is related to human greed gone to extremes. You do not need to travel to Thailand to be killed be your wife or her lover.

But you have to go to Thailand to get tipped off by the local police that your mate is going to be killed, so this doesnt happen all over the world.

The Daily Mail is tabloid that appeals to a certain section of the British public who revel in stories which involve a moral component. The moral component here is that silly old English man goes to Thailand gets involved in a native and is murdered for his wealth. This gives the Daily Mail reader something to tut-tut about into their tea. The truth is that this story is probably much more complex and could happen anywhere.

So you are one of them ultra intelligent people who know the difference between papers i am in awe, did the FT or Independent have a more open view on this brutal murder?

The Mail got the story out what is your problem with that??????

By the way i dont subscribe to any newspaper, though i enjoy the Daily Sport.

  16. Steve

I'm not blaming on the victim, I don't take side......if you only go and read my first post.

Blaming on just one side is not how I write my posts.

The facts according to that article -

Fact 1 - She was living with her bf whilst the hubby was next door.

Fact 2 - It was common knowledge that he was going to be killed, he even told his solicitor so.

Fact 3 - He thinks she'd been trying to poison him and sent samples of beer that he thought were contaminated to the local hospital.

Fact 4 - She sold the houses which he bought and he had to take her to court to get his money.

Fact 5 - He was brutally killed by his wifes lover and took many hours to die.

So whilst im sure the wifes point of view isnt being put over very well, im going to jump in with both feet and make the presumption she is in the wrong.

  17. What amazes me is how the hel_l do they think they can get away with it. Hardly the perfect crime,

The article says she had a police secret lover, so presumably they thought connections would get them off.

It doesnt make clear if the killer was old bill or she had another lover.

  18. Evil fuc_kers hope they rot in prison for a long time, if she had half the money from the sales of the property then their was no need, theyd won what is important to these types i.e the money.

After working at Ford for many years id have thought he be on a nice pension and wouldnt be in the dire straits that article portrays.

I wonder if he knew what was going to happen why he didnt leave.

  19. Thing is they can put him away but corruption in Thailand will not change one iota, even though he is more then likely guilty and is a nasty piece of work (drug killings) this trial is politically motivated as no one with his wealth has been on trial before (think im right in saying that) and if my theory that 99.9% of all the worlds politicians are lying, thieving, corrupt, up their ass, deluded with power, nasty, evil, self centred individuals then the ones who are opposing him arent any better.
