They do this at Ajarn forum, their ladies' forum is locked and only women can get in. Not even the gays. The Ladies Forum should be set to private - only Ladies Fo registered members can get in! lol!Don't know how practical this would be as we don't know which members are actually woman. I have been mistaken as a woman as my nick is 'sue' gha.
P.S. I'm a gay male.

I went to the California Wow at Silom recently on my way home and asked for membership details... 5000 baht for 1 month, you can attend ALL classes (fitness, yoga, etc) - although I was mainly looking for yoga - OR 5000 baht for 1 month for the strictly yoga program (different from the former). The girl said they had a "promo" for 3500 baht if I join now.
After the sales pitch I said, "Ok, I'll come back tomorrow because I have to think about it."
"No, tomorrow, no promo anymore. Must pay now."
"I don't have any money with me right now, I wasn't prepared."
"Ok, you pay 500 baht deposit."
If they weren't so tacky, I would have considered the rip-off 5000 baht.

I'd be pissed if that is true because I just came back from Samui - never bothered to look up detox spas because I assumed everything in Samui is overpriced. I need detox!!!...Samui is probably the best for the cheapest price in the country and is even... -
I've just been asked a question by a friend looking to return to Thailand soon...
I had the same dilemma before too. This is what I drink here: V-Soy Soymilk Hi-Calcium
Contents: 99.5% soymilk, the rest are vitamins, minerals. No preseratives, no sugar added!
Nutrition facts: only 2% sodium!!! I cant decipher the rest as it is in Thai.
I buy the 230 mL(?) x 6 tetra packs. Paragon supermarket? I forgot. It also has the health check symbol.
Normally I drink Silk, and the staff at Starbuck's told me it's not sold here in Thailand.
They import it from Australia.
Hope this helps.

In order of preference:
laser - in the future, when I have saved enough
waxing in a salon
epilator - DIY, convenient, not for the faint of heart! (I have the Philips Satinelle Epilator from Canada)
waxing at home - can be messy & time-consuming
shaving - i have a LOT of scars from zits/pimples because of ingrown hair (I exfoliated, used sharp razors, yadda yadda yadda)
hair removal creams/lotions - never worked for me
My skin type: very sensitive
hair type: very thick

Hi all, I have a similar question, didnt want to post a new thread. Any tips/info/suggestion for me?
I arrived in Thailand (from Canada) on visa exempt last July 18.
I will be staying here until January.
From what I understand, I can do a border run 2 times - but that only accounts for 90 days...
What should I do after that?

Yeah, as one of the previous poster said ... Gaultier released the 1st ever commercially available line of men's make-up. Men have been wearing make-up for centuries... perfectly fine if you're not into it, but why be intimidated &/or judgemental of other men being less masculine just because of it? It's all a matter of who's got the balls to wear some.
Women today are the real men, anyway. Next!

Im in Central Bangkok, beeyotch!!!

Ok, they get a D for originality, but their stuff is oh so good!
FYI, Pink Berry is a trendy frozen yogurt cafe in LA, it's so popular that you'd see Escalades lining up blocks from the store.
So... Buddhi Belly is good enough. Yummay.

The 3G iPhones must be signed to a 3-yr AT&T contract - but some have managed not to sign-up for the monthly data plan (I heard that the monthly data plan is required, whether you need it or not) "your mileage may vary" --- hence, the 3G iPhones you see for sale outside Apple Stores.

I second eek's tip on aspirin mask. I've been doing it a few times a week for a while now and results are very impressive.

Thanks for the tip eveyrone. Was thinking of going to the Thai Embassy in Manila to get a tourist visa.
I'll definitely avoid it. I have also heard of other horror stories from expats & Filipinos going to other countries.
