  1. Would you still buy the same specs today? How much did your set up cost?

I know it's only 1.5 months later but the PC hardware moves very fast. Example GFX cards go in and out of fashion very quickly.

    Cheers

  2. I've always been a console gamer, I have a PS3, PS4 and a WiiU here but I've just built a gaming PC in Bangkok too. I totally overspec'd it so it will be able to run games for a few years at Ultra settings;

    My build is

    CPU: Intel i7-4790k

    Motherboard: Asus Z97K

    Graphics Card: Asus STRIX GTX970

    RAM : 2x 4GB Corsair Vengeance (I will add another 2x 4GB whenever this isn't enough)

    SSD: 120GB for OS

    HDD: 2x 4TB for Data

    PSU: Corsair RM750

    Case: Corsair

    These specs

  3. Hi Guys smile.png

Laptop finally went bang so getting this PC has suddenly jumped to must have ASAP. Just wanted to check that the specs in the is thread are still current? I will use the the system mainly for working but I will play a few games, currently on my list to play Witcher 3 and the new Star Wars games (will only buy after reading a review) don't trust EA or Dice to preorder.

I will buy one monitor and connected up a spare 50" LED TV I have not sure if that's important but thought I would mention it.

  4. Hi Guys and Girls, smile.png

I should be getting my new passport this week and need to transfer my Triple Entry Tourist Visa to my new passport. Can I do this at Suvarnabhumi or do I have to go to Immigration to get it done? I am currently using my last 60 entry. If I get my new passport I will be leaving Thailand on Friday. So seems silly to go to Immigration when I am going to the airport in 3 days.

    Thanks

  5. Had a great time at the football yesterday

Number 10 for Thai Port FC looks very good

Does anyone know how you go about buying tickets for away games?

At most grounds you can just turn up on the day. You'll probably only need to buy in advance for the matches at Bangkok Glass and Muang Thong Utd. The Thai football press usually have details. Also, I'm sure Port's new owners will make sure this information is posted on the club's official website.

I can't find any Thai Port FC website

Found a English Facebook page thou smile.png

  6. My MacBookPro is getting long in the tooth and I noticed it's getting low on disk space.

I am sure I have collected years and years of junk.

What is the best way of finding out what directories have all the data in them so I can tidy up?

    Thanks
