  1. We tried everything and were on top for large parts of the game but it was not to be. Mainly due to inspirational keeping from Courtois who was easily MoM. For us, Konate stood out and at only 22, will grow into a fantastic centre back. Disgraceful scenes outside the ground both before and after the game. NOT the fault of the fans despite UEFA's protestations but that of the organisers and police.

Still, it's been a hell of a ride this season, almost all of it thoroughly enjoyable. YNWA

If not relevant or useful, then why did the person who asked the original question, like my post & say thanks for my very helpful reply ???

Post was not relevant or useful as the question was.....Where is the match being shown in Thailand. The app you referred to was not available and therefore useless. Please only offer this or similar apps when they are actually available....Cheers.

Fabinho Keita and Thiago I would have thought. Fitness permitting.

Like I said I think you have a chance. If VVD can mark Benzema out of the game it could be his finest hour.

Last time we played RM, Kroos and Modric were ruining Keita (subbed b4 half time) so I disagree. We need to stop them pinging balls through to Vinicius jr so he cannot either cause damage himself or cross to Benzema. Hendo is a more reliable choice and he can also help cover for TAA when we attack If Thiago can't make it then Keita will probably come in.

Is it harsh to say that Henderson might be out of his depth against this Madrid midfield?

Trust me when I say it's not nice to have to play your club captain as a sympathy vote!

Very harsh! He would be in my starting XI. Who would you have instead?.....Just because he isn't a 'box office' player doesn't mean he is a weak link. He can play in any midfield position and as Thiago/Fabs are recovering from knocks, he may well be needed in any of the  positions come Saturday.

He has taken undeserved flack in the past from a few know nothings but for me he remains an integral and important member of our team. Sympathy vote???....Like I said. Who would you pick instead?

I don't go hunting for them, They pop up in my feed. However, the one in my feed was Manchester Evening News, so I posted the Echo version so you would believe it ????

Of no interest to me so no need to post any other random stories mate.. Ta.

  6. During the CL press conference, Mo stated he will still be at Anfield next season. Didn't give anything away about signing a new contract though,

Thiago could be back training tomorrow so there are still hopes he will be available for the Final. Fabinho trained today

The clue is in the title. Premier League Manager of the Year. Not taking anything away from Klipperty, he's a top drawer manager but if the award isn't about winning the PL, then you could also argue Eddy Howe and what he has achieved is right up there. A few others spring to mind as well.

Same methodology as used with KDB's player award.....He got more votes....end of story????

    6 million. Happy now?

Seriously Rick, just look at how desperate your life has become that the only way you can get any sort of consolation is that you have more fans than us. It should actually make you more depressed that the biggest club in the galaxy are miles behind City, Liverpool, Chelsea,  Spurs and Arsenal

He ain't here apparently....seems to have had a bad dream about me so is recuperating under his bridge????

Yep. Well done for finishing second Jurgen

    Yep....Quite an achievement given:

Transfer outlay over the past decade: Man City: £1.5b (net spend £842m) Liverpool: £965m (net spend £297m)

Don't forget, two cups in the bag and the Champs League Final to come. Not a bad year for the fella????

Hi guys, due to some friction with Wilai I'd like to announce I'll be off this forum until tomorrow morning.

Just need some time to clear my head.

Please respect my privacy at this time.

Wasn't sure whether to laugh or be confused. I've been asleep all night so I doubt it was me you were arguing with. Still. whatever floats your boat????
