  1. Men and woman are not meant to co-habitat or "live together for ever".

You've been TOLD that your "supposed" to get married and live together as a couple for ever.

Right. That's just political/religious hogwash, and a system of control.

We are no more different than the animals that roam the planet. We age to reproductive maturity and then we fall apart until we die. We are programed to recognize the pheromone, and audio and visual cues that attract us to the opposite sex so that we can further the human race by breeding.

Anything more is just one societies political and or religious views and mantras being forced, or coerced and or subversively applied to control nothing more than animal instinct.

Marriage is an attempt to apply controls to those urges and maintain what society "says" and or "believes" is the "right" thing to promote what? a "happy" marriage?

Yeah....lol you can fool yourself into that way of thinking and pretend your happy and you'll tell me how foolish I am or how you've been completely happy and totally monagamous in your relationship and how I'm missing out....

But I dont care one bit about what YOU think makes YOU happy, and how YOU think I "should" be thinking another way...you've only proven you accepted with full faith what you've been told how to act and live.

Not me. And I couldn't be happier :o

  2. Dear oh dear . . you really don't have a clue about the dynamics of exchange rates, do you?

Are you seriously suggesting the plunging pound and Oz dollar against the baht is some kind of scam?

With this kind of financial sophistication so prevalent, it's no wonder things are in such a mess now.

Hmmm Than why would US President Andrew Jackson have carved on his tombstone the words "I killed the bank" ??

"Give me control of a country's money and I care not whom makes the rules" -Mayer Rothschild

"If my son's did not want wars there would be no wars" -Guttle Rothschild

Most of the country's across the globe have central banks that are private for profit entities.

  3. It has nothing whatsoever to do with race, and to stereotype people thus is palpable nonsense.

Perhaps you should educate yourself on the matter before making it any more obvious of your palpable lack of knowledge on the subject (not that it would be any more obvious).

Conspicuous Consumption and Race a study by the University of Chicago and Pennsylvania

"Using nationally representative data on consumption, we show that Blacks and Hispanics devote

larger shares of their expenditure bundles to visible goods (clothing, jewelry, and cars) than do

comparable Whites. We demonstrate that these differences exist among virtually all subpopulations,

that they are relatively constant over time, and that they are economically large."

  4. my Mrs takes it to new level even for me!!!

Every time I want to buy something she says "no we no need, we will save"

    FD :o

Could you imagine if American women thought like this? The entire global economy is based on American women and their lust for more shoes.

  5. First why are you putting "toast" iin the toaster? Shouldn't you put "bread" in a toaster?

    My theory

Maid took and ate the toast and that means you've got yourself a toast theif !!!

  6. My favorite response is to look up where they say they are in Africa on Google Maps, then write them back stating I have a couple friends in the next town over doing some military consultation work and they would be happy to meet with them to go over the lease or what ever...

They never write back for some reason....

  7. I'd just like to say: cool it, guys. Try to avoid talking about wives and stick to the topic. We're not going to have a discussion here about whether most Thai women or most Thai people or most Thai wives are prostitutes or not- they're not- and any attempt to move the thread in that direction henceforth will earn warnings and posting holidays.

On topic: I think there's something under the bridge, but assuming that the OP is even marginally sincere: Thailand doesn't need teachers who are dumb enough to start a forum topic simultaneously expressing their interest both in teaching and illegal, highly taboo drugs.

    Moved to the Teaching Forum.

Unfortunately this topic will be slowly killed now that no one can flame each other and have an internet "my penis is bigger than yours" contest.

It's funny how one just had to make a benign comment to rile up all the armchair Thailand ambassadors...lol

  8. Your generalisation about Thai women is ridiculous, I would suggest spending some time in Thailand, not neccessarily on a barstool, then you may be able to give an informative opinion, not a wild generalisation.

You must have an entire library of books at home whose covers are the only thing you've read.

With my ex wife being Thai and all I'll be sure to forget everything she told me about Thai women and take your advice instead.

And so your wife must know all about my wife then, sh*t it seems as though she must know her better than I do.

Perhaps she does. As paying attention aparently isn't your strong suit. She's my EX wife.

  9. The women in LOS are PROFESSIONAL women. Don't for a second think you have anything on them. They will charm you right into the poor house.

    DING DING DING!!!

You win the award for the ignorant comment of the day.

Obviously you not intelligent enough to surmise the type of women the OP would be spending his time with.

From his post you mean to tell me the girls he would most likley go after are interested in nothing but his charm and good looks?

    Wow...ignorance is bliss.

  11. While I've yet to step foot in the LOS, I would venture to guess from reading the OP's original post, it will be HE that will be taught the lessons and not his students.

I say come to LOS and "think" you will be able to do all those things on the salary you surmise you will get, and you will learn some very valuable life lessons that perhaps will change the way you approach the world in general.

The big questions you have to ask: Will you actually learn from those lessons?

I was your age when I joined the military and saw the world...granted it was the worst parts of the world but at least I had a gun and artillery support..lol

Just be humble, not cocky and open to learning everything. The women in LOS are PROFESSIONAL women. Don't for a second think you have anything on them. They will charm you right into the poor house.

  12. Just go buy some heavy gauge wire, get a metal pole with a hook on the end and hook the wires to the end of the pole and your fuse box and toss the pole with the hook on the end up onto the main lines.... problem solved........

    Right? :o:D :D

  13. Do a letter on company letterhead saying you are going to Thailand to pursue investments or someting similar.

State in letter that company will be resposible for your airfare expenses and etc. while in Thailand.

Apply for a non-b multiple entry. You can down load application on DC website. LA and Chicago have their own form ot their websites but the DC one is generic and can be used at honorary consulates.

Check to see which Thai consulate is nearest you. From experiecne the honorary ones are the easiest to deal with.

Only on TV can you get great advice like that thanks!

  14. Hi all....

OK me: 32 year old Male US citizen

My friend used Siam Legal to get a business visa good for one year (with the 90 day runs of course) and paid $500.00 +/- for the service, had to mail them his passport and 2 (2x2) pics plus visa form and give them a company name.

Myself being the cheap bastard that I am would like to try to directly get it done with the Thai Embassy in Washington and save $350 ++ dollars.

What is confusing is did he really get a business visa?, as he said all he gave Siam legal was the name of his company and thats it. But looking at the requirements off of the Thai Embassy website it would appear that you have to have an employer in Thailand and all the documents for employment etc etc...which isn't what I want, Im not going to be an employe, but rather will use the amity treaty once I am in Thailand to set up my American company...

So am I correct in assuming I just need a regualr non imigrant visa?

Basically the requirements look to be the same but I have a few questions:

    1) I want to get the same type of business visa my friend got. I have owned my US company as 100% owner for over 10years now and once settled in LOS will set up using the amity treaty etc etc. The Thai Embast website asks this: " For self-employed, business license or business registration indicating the applicant’s name" OK, in America, I have my Articles of incorporation that show my name and my business name and they have the "recorded" stamp by my countys recorders office. Is this sufficent?

    2) They want a recent bank statement. Since I get all my statements online will they accept a print out from my bank signed by an officer of the bank?

Hopefully someone here can set me straight. I just want to get a Visa for the longest peroid of time and I am aware that I will have to do 90 day visa runs but my friends visa is good for a year so Id like to try and get what he got.

    Thanks!!!

  15. Anyone here ever see "Fear and loathing in Las Vegas" ??? The Hunter S. Thompson movie made from the book ??

Those are the kind of savage burns I'd pull on any hotel that tried to screw me over paying for a broken glass. Yeah. they'd have to call the fire department just to break down the door to the room since I screwed all the furniture to the door.

And of course add other touches like doing a "top shelf" :o

  16. The USD deserves to plummet and plummet hard after what the yanks have started, 3 of the 4 biggest mortgage lenders running up such high debts and the knock on effect is being felt around the globe. At the moment the other currencies are taking the hit, but soon the shit will hit the fan and the USD will drop like a brick...

    Don't hold your breath.

I guess i have the magic touch, usd fell hard today just as predicted...hopefully more to come... :o

Hmmmm because Yahoo finance shows the USD at it's highest in months...and still going higher.

  17. Where I live now in Arizona copper theft is at an epidemic proportion.

Just last month theives we're attempting to steal the copper from an irrigation pump on a farm by my neighborhood.

Well, the irrigation pumps we're energized and it killed one of the thieves.

Now the thieves families are suing the property owner for wrongful death.

And the judge is going to let it play out.

  18. I had a great post written, but due to the Large Hadron Collider's ability to spurn microscopic black holes at random I believe my post, and most of the frontal lobe of my brain was inadvertently sucked in the black hole, which then enveloped itself due to the massive amount of crap stored in my frontal lobe.
