There is one superb hotel that i know of, i haven't stayed there but is highly recomended and i drive past it all the time. The Maritime Hotel and Spa.(www.maritimeparkandspa.com). This is certainly the best in Krabi Town and they will be able to show you the best places in Krabi Town. It is true that there is much more in Ao Nang. Although one place to eat is Baan Ton Kao (www.bantonkao.com) in between krabi town and ao nang. Huge gardens with lakes and traditional thai boats etc. either way there is plenty of good places to goto if you have a car...

I'm thinking of doing some wakeboarding in Ao Nang,Krabi...i know watersports are banned in Krabi but i think that is for commercial purposes, such as jet skis etc. I have a speedboat and want to know if it will be ok for me to wakeboard here. Obviousley not on the main Ao nang beach but somewhere a little quieter. Anybody know the rules? or if not can gimme an idea who to ask...

Huggy bear....cat not go me tounge. Guess what we're both correct.

There is a centara wing in Ao Nang on the left as you drive down...I play tennis there.This is the staff quarters, tennis court and reception for the guests when they arrive.

They are then transferred to the Resort situated on the BEACH BETWEEN AO NANG AND TON SAI via speed boat.

I hope that clarifys everything.

You are wrong...It is the Centara Resort and v nice it is too.
