That is the impression that you get from frequenting seedy bars .

Outside of bars you cannot have almost anyone , you can only get females who view the relationship as being a job for them .

Many Females are already in relationships and the younger ones wouldn't want to be in a relationship with an older man .

You can buy younger females from bars or have a relationship with a divorcee your own age and that's about all you can get

I agree with what you say. Thailand is full of middle-aged divorcees, a lot of whom are very tasty ladies. I married one of them fifteen years ago and we're still together.

Fully understand your problem, been looking for a Gillette G2 for a while. When ever I see multi-blade shavers always reminds me of the remake of The Rise and Fall of Reginald Perrin with Martin Clunes as the Project Executive in charge of disposable razers at GroomTech.

Anyway, found these in my local Family Mart / Tops. Very similar to the old G2. Doesn't swivel and no gel strip.

    I use the very same.

I can't abide all these new-fangled razors which "blend with the contours of your face."

Year's ago, Tesco (UK) made/sold a cheap 2 or 3 blade razor with a rigid head, but unfortunately it seems to have been discontinued. Whilst I suffer from shaky hands, I am a man, and am perfectly capable of holding the razor in a way which suits my shaving fashion.

Unfortunately, all razors, with varying numbers of extra heads, are packaged in such a manner as to be unable to determine whether their heads are indeed rigid, or "swivel." Back in the UK, most supermarket staff wouldn't have a clue as to whether a razor has, or doesn't have a rigid head. I would imagine that here in Thailand, with the "lost-in-translation" language problem, that getting an accurate answer to the question in point would be nigh on impossible.

So, to the question: Does anyone know where I can buy a man's razor with a rigid head, either here, or in the UK? The manufacture's name of said razor would be a help, even better, a picture of one.

    TIA.

    David.

N.B. I am only interested in the above --- NOT the old-fashioned razors with removable/replaceable blades.

I use "Gillette Super Thin II" long handle, which is a 2 blade rigid head which I buy from Big C. I too detest there floating heads or whatever it is they call them, always cut myself. I think as long as it doesn't mention swivel head or words to that effect on the packet, you're ok.

These should be weeded out in my opinion.

Yeah sure, who in their right mind thinks it’s okay to be a lackey?

    Boot them out…

Depriving immigration of their main source of income? That's cruel.

Actually, crazy as it seems it's necessary.

    From Bard AI: -

The Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) allows transgender individuals to serve openly and without discrimination. This policy was enacted in 2016 and ensures that transgender members have equal access to all opportunities and benefits within the military.

Here are some additional details about transgender inclusion in the CAF:

    • No surgery requirement: Transgender individuals are not required to undergo gender reassignment surgery in order to serve openly.
    • Access to healthcare: Transgender members have access to a range of healthcare services, including hormone therapy and gender-affirming surgeries.
    • Non-discrimination policy: The CAF has a strict non-discrimination policy that protects transgender members from harassment and bullying.
    • Support networks: The CAF offers a number of support networks for transgender members, including peer support groups and employee resource groups.

No wonder they're struggling to recruit people. NATO's enemies must be rubbing their hands with glee.

More fool you for using an agent who deals with an office outside your area. That would be a definate no no from me. The agent I use deals direct with the Jomtien office where I live. Only dodgy ones deal out of area.

Yes, I know the Jomtien agents deal with that office, because sometimes when I'm at the counter, I have to wait when a runner comes in clutching a pile of passports to be stamped. The IOs know exactly who the agents are and wouldn't even consider putting a stop to it because it's their bread and butter. For that reason, I'm sure that those using agents need have no fear of being called out for it. Also, as I've said before, if I could afford it I too would use an agent.

Your 40 years old so you have circa 40 years left to live all going well.

You have a decision to make.

You can retire early now with 100k baht per month to spend.

You can work another 5-10 years after which time you have 200k per month.

It could be as high as another ten years but if you are lucky it might only be 5 years, This isn't predictable.

Do you take the 100k per month now or put your head down and double your income in the coming years for a much more comfortable life?

    Pros/Cons

Cripes, I've only got six months left, if all goes well.

  8. I find the whole thing ironic. They've given the nod to bars opening until 4 am so that people can pour alcohol down their throats all night and then appear worried about them leaving inebriated.

i know some alcoholics in denial, drink every day but don't acknowledge they have a problem, to be fair it's not a big issue until many years later. Actually they have some days off and think that means they're ok, big mood swings

I've drank just about every day of my life since I was 15. I'm now 79 yoa and in my opinion, fit as a fiddle. I jog every other day and weigh 71 kg. I see many unfit fat unhealthy men who don't drink. I know which I prefer. Alcohol is a great relaxant.

Not noisy at all thankfully, I don't think many people live full time on my floor. A huge relief as the previous condo I was in was the worst with some idiot smoking all day and leaving his door open with the tv on full blast and the smoke would stink up my unit and the hallways. Also had some guy who I suspect was mentally ill constantly laughing and making weird noises that would echo through the hallway.

Sounds a bit like my old condo in Jomtien. Had a German guy lived opposite. Nice fellow, but he and his Thai girlfriend used to leave their door open all day whilst playing loud country and western music. I moved to a different condo building in the same complex and it was worse if anything. Doors slamming, renovation noise, loud bass-heavy music from other units, noisy people coming and going at all hours of the night, bass-heavy music from the beach etc etc  It was a relief to finally move into a house. If I was ever to move into another condo, I'd rent the most expensive that I could afford with good insulation between the units and some distance from the beach.
