  1. Off-topic post removed. The OP did not mention his nationality and it would be pointless to fill this topic with information about how each of the over 100 embassies in Thailand handle this matter.

    Again some removed.

OP please tell us your nationality.

Are you aware income letters are accepted that are up to 6 months old. Perhaps you can schedule your trip for the stat declaration at a more convenient time.

Income letters only 1 month where I go. Chiang Khan Loei.

  2. Well chaeng khaen is still 1 month, my aussie mate's one was 6 weeks old and he had to make another trip to Bangkok for a new one and that was last week, I suggest every ones asks their own office as they make up their rules in my experience.

..and draw their attention to the Immigration Bureau directive referred to by ubonjoe if they tell you less than 6 months.

You really do not have a clue about Thai immigration officers do you. do what you suggest and get hell from them forever.

  3. If you not married legally you do not have a child here, even if name on birth cert , no good, you have a lot of hoops to jump through I am afraid. You must get your father rights through the courts, long and expensive and for visa she must live with you. Good lick

A Thai consulate issues the visa for the purpose of travelling to Thailand to visit the child, ie the father lives outside Thailand and the child lives in Thailand. It is not necessary for the child to live in the same household with the father during the father's visit to Thailand.

Read the op post !! he wants to live here not just visit!!!!!!!!!

Thank you kindly. All done last year. I have fathers rights.

All good so far, she has to actually live with you in the same house.

  5. The thing you have to watch out here for is dealers that do not pay for the vehicle and hence cannot register it for months or until they actually pay for it, I had this problem when I bought my Pajero, drove around for about 6 months with no plates, chased the dealer regularly, finally chased up direct to Mitsubishi in Bangkok, they had no record of the sale and said it was still on dealer allocation, this was soon resolved by Mitsubishi. Only stopped once on a trip to Bangkok 1000 baht T money, which I reclaimed from dealer in Udon Thani, after a good set to.
