Hi Thaivisaers,
I just got a new visa extension and a new multiple reentry permit.
Does that reset my 90 days notification window?
Should I do my next 90 day based on the date of my last entry into the kingdom on the previous reentry permit, or based on having immigration stamp my new visa extension into my passport?

Hi Thaivisaers,
My wife entered the country on a 90 days non-O. We have all the required documents to submit her extension to 1 year. Do we need to wait until a certain amount of days are left on her initial visa (the last 30 days?) or can we just go extend it to the full year at immigration at any time?

Hi
My wife just got denied extension on her non O and got a 7 days stamp to leave.
Can she fly to a neighbouring country, spent a few hours in the airport, fly back the same day and get 30 days visa exempt when landing in bkk (French with a French passport) or is there a rule such as must spend at least 1 night?

Hi Thaivisa,
I'm currently holding a valid work permit that I got on my initial non-B Visa (the one I entered the country with 80+ days ago).
My non-B Visa is about to expire and it seems unlikely that my employer will be able to provide the necessary documents required by immigration for the extension of stay before my current visa expires.
Is there any "grace period" once the non-B is expired, or will I need to restart a new non-B out of Thailand from scratch at that point?
What happens to my current work permit if my non-B expires ?
I'm assuming my options at this point are letting my visa expire and overstaying (sounds really bad) until my employer figures out the documents, or visa running land or air (cancelling my current non B and coming back on a visa exempt 15 or 30 days entry), then exiting again to do a new non B at a later time. Am I missing other options?

It's unclear to me whether job postings are allowed in this forum. If not let me know and I'll post it somewhere else.
We are looking for an IT analyst to be based in Chiang Mai. Must be fluent in French. Requirement analysis, specs writing, making screen mockups, testing resulting software. We provide work permit and our admin staff works out the visa stuff - all fully above board.
If you're interested or know someone, please contact me.

Hi all,
Looking to stay 6 weeks in Bangkok, with precise requirements:
- at least 2 bedrooms
- 100+ sqm
- swimming pool on location
- close to one of the following BTS stations : Prom Pong, Thong Lor, Ekkamai
Hotels don't seem to have the right kind of rooms (too small and/or only 1 bedroom).
Classic condo rentals want 12 months minimum.
What solutions would be best for this kind of "in between" duration?
Moved house, how to change address?
in Thailand Motor Discussion
Hi,
Just recently moved to a new condo. I want to make sure my car is registered to the new address so I can receive my speeding tickets and pay them promptly.
1) I assume they use the address from the blue car registration book to know where to send the speeding fines, and that is what I need to have updated. Is that correct?
2) where do I do it? I tried going to the department of land transport but they said I should go to my local land office. Does that sound right?
3) what do I bring? As I own the new place I was thinking passport/blue car book/blue house book/yellow house book. How does that sound?
