  1. you'd be surprised the local shabu by me gives over 60 a substantial discount too
  2. Because when i give them my id they still ask for a passport. Never had a pink id which wouldn't work for a thai bank account which is different then foreigner account
  3. When i go to the bank i skip bringing my id????. As soon as they ask for my passport i whip out my thai passport and the silence is deafening ????
  4. there was a article in nnt June 1 about a sweep in Phuket and one of the detainees had already received citizenship
  5. Please let me know if you get anywhere with this.
  6. Id suggest getting a better relationship with your case officer. Since im not a people person i let my wife talk with him 99% and it was the best for me. If the government doesn't change the application structure youll be in contact with him or her for years
  7. Im assuming you're not doing it in bkk? I my case bkk sb case officer estimated my points before meeting his boss upstairs . This helped in knowing i didn't need to sing or pass writing tests . SB bkk meeting is the 2nd most difficult because they do not want to send a candidate to fail
  8. Singing is not required if you accumulated enough points when applying based on marriage. The questions previously in bkk were simple where how you met, type of job etc. Really about 3 minutes after 45 seconds my wife finished the interview dont think they cared for my thai
  9. SB will definitely ask to see her financial statement and believe me the RD is more sophisticated than you think .
  10. You can but not every property owner is willing to go to the khet with you
  11. I probably used the wrong term when i said you as i meant your company. I believe VAT is compulsory when the company does over 1.8mb per year. I made a assumption that with a 1.2 mb salary the company should be doing way over that amount
  12. I still recommend talking with SB my wife also has a company which i was not a share holder. SB although nice they did scrutinize it to make sure it was real. Im not a accountant but with 1.2mb in salary id be careful you may owe a lot of VAT.
  13. Your company is going to be a issue not sure how you have a wp without vat registration . Best to talk with SB in bkk
  14. Im sure some people dont have a desire to travel the world
  15. I guess the DL is only required if you have one?
  16. You can certainly ask the embassy when you have your passport notarized but id wait for the case officer to gove you the list of requirements . Personally if someone asked for extra money i wouldn't be posting it here.
  17. " In regards to the intent to renounce US citizenship, is there any risk in completing this affidavit so early in the process? General thoughts on providing any/all of these document" dont think the embassy does this anymore
  18. not sure but a friend of mine has been waiting right at 2 years now for his moi interview . Wondering if things are slowing up?
  19. same dealer had one 2 weeks ago i could have bought
  20. I see now stripe and Google pay are available in Thailand. Wondering if anyone has experience here as a merchant gateway? Stripe seems much cheaper and easier to setup than thai online bank merchant accounts. Also seems Google pay has no fees how do they make money?
  21. there's 3 different immigration halls
  22. Has anyone tried to sell a condo in foreign quota after becoming a thai citizen?
  23. Id be interested if this is only required if you lack the points to qualify without thai skills.
  24. My SB contact told me to change everything back to my province before taking the oath. This helps when its time to get your id, blue book, etc no need to return to bkk
  25. I was being facetious ???? on a serious note its more about the insurance of taking care of my family, business and property without too much worry of staying in Thailand permanently
