I've always thought 'foreigners throwing trash on the ground' was included in the price of Thailand's policy of dual pricing.

... must have been the essence of the words I used?...
dunno, but just think of it - every time someone has had a complaint, and then, say, put it onto facebook - they suddenly find themselves being sued.
Surely you have also noticed the trend by now??
even someone finding (half) a grub in a pie, will be sued if they go public via social media, for the next thing is, they are silenced by the fear of...
them
You cleaned up your words and made yourself about as clear as mud.

Easiest way is to report bad things about their product via the wider social media and they'll quickly get back to you... through the Courts
Tifino, you're not one of those grubs who hangs around social media snitching on fellow expats, are you?

Since you probably use either the Android or True visions box when watching TV, it would make no difference where the soundbar was paired with. In fact i think the result would be better when pair with the respective boxes, if both boxes have Bluetooth.
The Android box is connectable by Bluetooth but the Truevision's box has no graphic interface and no obvious Bluetooth option though it is connectable by an optical audio cable.
While we're on the topic can you suggest an Android app which can receive Thai TV for the Android box?

I tried that and when I received a message back that English language chat is no longer available.

I've bought a product from Lazada Thailand which has crapped itself after being used only a couple of times but unfortunately outside of the 2 week Lazada return period.
The seller has a 2 month warranty on the device but they don't read their messages. I have tried to contact Lazada but they don't have English chat. I want to report my case but have no obvious way of contacting them.
Any practical suggestions on how to get a replacement product out of them?

For hardware, just plug a decent Android box (2600-3000THB) in the HDMI. The Android box will haveAndroid 7 or 8 and all the connectivity and bluetooth you need. I did this with my so called TCL Smart TV which was fairly useless in the Smarts dept.
I have an Android box and also have a True Visions box connected to the TV by HDMI so it would be easier if the soundbar was paired directly to the TV.

If the TV has 3.5mm audio jack socket then you can use a 'Bluetooth Adaptor'. Such as this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-Excelvan-Bluetooth-Adapter-HIFI-Wireless-2-in-1-Audio-Bluetooth-Receiver-and-Transmitter-for-Speakers/32753226885.html
Thanks for the suggestion but as per the above post I'm afraid that if I forked out for that adaptor I may be left with a fancy paperweight.

Assuming the beast has a couple of USB ports this should help http://profandroid.com/network/bluetooth/connecting-via-usb.html
Thanks for the recommendation but unfortunately it doesn't work. The beast is OGP compatible, however, when a Bluetooth adapter is plugged into the USB, nothing happens. It's quite a limited TV as you can see by the attached shots.

The idea that the mother tongue should be banned from the classroom was superseded a long time ago, but it does still feature in some entry level pre-service teacher training courses.
Spot on! After a while it gets tedious listening to long-term expats use that as excuse to justify their lack of being able to communicate in the local language.

I too received the sim but the process was rejected due to an expired transfer code. Line Mobile said the process would have to start again from scratch with my credit card again being billed for a further amount equivalant to the price of the chosen package.
The experience dealing with both companies was similar to dealing with Air Asia.

Did it work?
No, it didn't work as Line Mobile say they need a minimum of 5 days to complete the transfer but they were quick to bill my credit card when I gave them the transfer code.

An interesting thread.
It appears that if a person is working online remotely in Thailand for an out of country employer then the MoL and DoE don't regard this as working in Thailand for work permit and visa purposes. Good to know.

Only an authority can answer that question. Get your wife to call the Kru Sapa (Teacher's Council).
In the meantime brace yourself for conflicting information and nonsense off of a male poster trolling as a woman.

You can take my resume off of that list.
Snorkeling Mask Recommendation
in Diving in Thailand
Posted · Edited by somchaismith
I'll be going to Lipe and partaking in a bit of snorkeling.
Beforehand, I plan to buy a mask and snorkel set off of Lazada. I'm not looking for anything fancy but I don't want a set which leaks or falls apart.
Any suggestions?
