  1. i went to Bang Rak Amphur office, have no problem at all, no need 2 witness, no need translator, 15-20minute walk in walk out .

but you do need a bunch of photo copy though, make sure you have 2 copy of everything including wifey document and 2 copy of your passport, at the end of the paper work, you still need to do another photo copy of the last paper work, but there are a copy place right next door.

    thank you all for helping.

  2. try this one www.pop-shopper.com, it run normal to me, or maybe try search google. didn't know it was illegal, everybody on my soi have one, people only use it to zip around small soi, nobody go on main road with it. i wasn't planning to registered it, just buy it and use it as is. but about the confiscated that is not cool, and yes i believe you about them taking the moped or maybe some tea money. (JohnLeech) well thank for letting me know, never knew it was illegal with a harmless 50cc motor.

  3. i will try Bang Rak Amphur office on tues, i think i know where that office located, let see how it turn out, my paper work have a flaw that need to be fix, dumb of me not to fill in my income instead of leaving it blank, that need to be fix on monday.

and about the 2 witness that i needed, they just straight out refuse, once the boss speak no other worker are willing to be a witness, my wife willing to be a translator, they said no can do and that i need a different translator.

  4. urgent help on marry at the amphur , i went to my amphur today to get register marriage, i have all the paper work in hand.

    1. i have affidavit from my embassy sign and confirm

    2. got it translated to thai confirm

    3. got it verified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Chaeng Wattana confirm

i thought this was enough to register my marriage at the amphur, maybe my amphur is being an azz, they also require me to have the following

--in my affidavit from the embassy i did not put down how much i was making$ and what kind of job that i have, because i wasn't working, they told me that have to be verify, how am i suppose to verify thing that i don't work.

--next they said i need 2 people to verify our marriage, and that they themself or office working will not do it for me, <deleted>...are you kidding me.

--and they needed a translator, why on earth do i need a translator.

    1. does anybody in recent day or week got marry in bangkok have to go through all this?

    2. im planning to try another amphur which is farang friendly, does anybody know any that i can try, location of that amphur or a phone number for that Amphur that i can call and find out for myself.

    3. you are out of luck and have do all these shlt over again.

  5. If married and have 100k in bank KL will issue multi entry non immigrant O visa which only requires a border crossing every 90 days.
hmmm i thought that you only needed to report to the immigration every 90days until your visa is expired, for this kind of visa multiple O base on marriage
  6. 1) Applied for a letter of Freedom to marry from Embassy
does anybody know how long it take for the affidavit at the US Consulate, same day or next day?
For B400 I had the letter translated - (a guy took the letter offsite and came back 30mins later with the translation)
is there a translator at the Ministry of Foreign affairs?
  7. The second part is that the Consulate will not normally issue a multi entry visa to someone not resident (in some manner) in Vietnam.
quite interesting, im sure what to make of this, weird that you have to be resident of vietnam to be able to apply for a Thai mult non-O, i hope this is not the case in HCMC

i guess not to many people have gone to HCMC for their mult non-O, i was hoping to hear from some one or any one that actually apply there.

I got a free ticket to HCMC, it would be a waste if i have to change my destination to KL instead, i'll try to wait for another week or so to see if any reply, after that i will call the Thai consulate in HCMC vietnam myself and ask them directly.

  8. In April I got a multiple-entry "O" visa bsaed on Thai child at the Thai Embassy in Hanoi.
i think they would consider this a visit of friend or family member, im not sure i might be wrong.
Initially they told me they only issue a single-entry unless you can present a letter from the Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirming residency in Vietnam. However, I was able to show them a consultancy contract with a company in Hanoi which required several visits, and they accepted that. Don't know about the minimum financial requirements as was able to show over a million baht on deposit in Bangkok Bank.
i'm sorry but you lost me here
  9. They decided to ram a stick inside a beehive and now the bees are swarming out. It didn't need an Einstein to tell them that if they crack down on Rajprasong, the red shirts won't just go home but they will go all over the city, which is what we're seeing now. A 5 year old knows not to ram a stick inside a beehive.

The army may win the battle of Bangkok, but they have lost the war for the country. That, my friends, is the truth. .

if you are in a group you can claim its a protest and if you scatter and on your own you are consider thugs, criminal with weapon, there for shoot to kill. That, my friends, is the truth.

actually don't need the military or police to clean thing up, local resident will do the job for them, when you scatter easy target

  10. i have a question regarding re-entry permit, i have a multiple non B visa, i have use up all the entry i have, this is the last 90day that i can get and the visa itself is already expire 2 week ago, but unexpected thing have come up and i need to do a business trip leaving Thailand in an urgent, can i be able to apply for a re-entry permit base on my last 90day stay, once again the visa itself is already expire. where im going there is no thailand embassy or consulate not that i know of.

if yes where can i apply for the re-entry permit?

  11. im starting to get confuse with all this talk, if im correct the process must be

1.get a Affirmation to Marry Certificate from my embassy

2.get it translate by a certify translator

3.take the translate letter to an MFA office to get it verify

4.and then register marriage at any local amphur

im starting to think that the translator, translate the letter and also verify the letter for marriage

  12. You need to get an Affirmation to Marry Certificate from the UK Embassy. This takes 2 days.

You then need to get this translated to Thai and Certified at the MFA in Bangkok.

You can then register your marriage at any amphur . I forget how much but not a lot.

There are many translation companies near the British Embassy who can do every thing for you if you want.

I take it that your Girlfriend has divorce papers if she was legally married before.

    Read this.

    Embassy

can anybody do the translation or have to be qualify personel

  13. is this the main hall where everybody go to get their 14day/30days extension etc.., same counter?
