  1. Facts: It was the Democrat Government that got Thailand into a financial mess in 1997 and Thaksin that led Thailand out, repaying the debt to IMF in 2003. As a result of the actions of his government, Thailand repaid 520 billion baht to the IMF two years ahead of schedule. By changing economic strategies particularly relating to the balance of trade, Thailand had also accrued USD15 in foreign bank deposits and another USD38 billion in foreign reserves, by 2003. But Abhisit says he was corrupt. And Abhisit is an honourable man... (fr. Shakespeare)
dude where did you get this fact from, :o you are way off. don't embarrass yourself now
  2. Former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra Monday vowed to fight his way back to the post of prime minister and vowed to return to Thailand.

He made the announcement through a 20-minute phone-in to the Pheu Thai Party seminar in Nakhon Ratchasima.

During the phonein, he affirmed to the MPs and executives of Pheu Thai that he would fight against his opponents for justice.

this paragraph sound good and all
"I would like to tell the people that I'll be ready to return to the post of prime minister again if the people are also ready," Thaksin said.

"But if the people give up, it will also be tantamount to my defeat as well."

and then this last two give it away.
  3. see what i mean..half-azz protest, monday morning and poof! they are gone, what a waste of time..i don't know why they even protest for, well atleast the red shirt people can make a few buck over the weekend, and have a free bus ride to Bangkok.

asking for stupid demand they will get stupid reply, the three stoogest actually 5 stoogest is a laughing stock. people sometime do idiot thing to get pay.

  4. don't worry about it, these red shirt will be gone by tomorrow morning, that's how it work, they are only hire for the weekend only.

i have no idea why they want to protest on a saturday and sunday for especially the government house there is nobody there, official don't work on weekend, and they are not the type that stick around for week, one two day and poof gone so what is the purpose of protest for.

  5. Are you implying that the only way to get taken seriously is to bring the country to a standstill?

Occupying govt house for months on end and then the airports is indeed serious business, which is why they should be held responsible for their actions. If the reds do the same it is also inexcusable but at least take both sides to court and prosecute and the crimes should be equal.

(Although as yet the reds have gone no where near as far).

get the job done or done do it at all, PAD stand for what it is, it take fire to fight fire, and guest what? clown government no more. protest for the people by the people, if you are protest to achieve a goal do seriously and get the job done, red shirt are clown like their leader, they get pay, they come, they sitting for a few hour and drink some beer and poof!!! they are gone cause paying time is up. BoZO.
  6. the Elite card wasn't about tourist or long stay or what ever they claim to be, it was set up by Thaksin and who ever he partner with decided it is a good idea to set up this company so they can skim some money from the government coffer, that's why the Thaksin keep inject money into it with tax payer money, even thought the company was in a bad shape and not making any money, they didn't care how many customer they got, from the start there weren't that many to start with, it was all about somewhere to stash the money, this is one of many Thaksin technique to skim government money, how can a company with only a few employee rack up million of baht, which they only sell plastic.

  7. Thaksin thanks fans for offering him money

BANGKOK: -- Former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra said thanks to his supporter for offering to raise funds for him after hearing that he had run out of money.

"I was very happy and had to hold back my tears when leaning that poor Thais want to raise funds and remit the money to me," Thaksin said during a live talk programme on DTV, by making a phone in.

"Please don't worry as I can still help myself. I have friends who help me and lend me money. But having to travel all the time cost me a lot."

Thaksin earlier gave an interview to a Japanese newspaper that he had run out of wealth.

The hosts of the satellite TV programme told Thaksin that the report prompted Thais, who still love him, to plan to raise money to help him.

this statement so ridiculous that even the red shirt people are laughing at it.
  8. Would you like the US payment plans that go with that low price ? People love to tell one side of the story. My brother in law got free HTC diamond with his contract in Singapore, and the contract is about 2500 baht / month for 2 years.
i bet you i can get it without a AT&T service plan, you just need to know where to look for it.
People love to tell one side of the story
clueless people like you is the one that cough up 28kbaht for a phone, when you can get it for half the price.
  9. the iphone in the US cost only $199 for 8g and $299 for 16g.....

in thailand it cost 24-28 thousand baht, you are talking about $500 hundred US dollar profit....dam_n what a rip off

if all yall really want the phone, pay me 10-15kbaht each and if i have enought customer i will fly to the US myself and buy the phone and carry it back myself.

  10. It's not relevant to todays protest, it is of an earlier protest.... But don't put an old violent picture up with an article about today's so far peaceful protest. It gives the viewer the impression that things are violent, and currently that is not the case.

Now if it turns violent today, then put up todays violent pictures with a story about the protest today....

    same thug different day man!!!
  11. Well last PM didnt get much of a chance.... so this one has a short rope too.

he did got his chance, instead he's running around like mad dog trying to cover his ass, every problem the country have he was never around to solve it, always have an excuse to be some where else, to be honest he can't solve anything because he have to listen to some one else, got his hand tide, sound like a puppet to me.

  12. give the guy a break, he is just a PM for only a few day.

" a person done wrong is already wrong,

a person that have not done wrong is not yet wrong"

Thaksin, corrupt in the first degree...wrong..

Samak, clamming to be a puppet day one...wrong..

Somchai, keep running around like mad dog, seek and hide..wrong..

  13. he know quite well lying on national TV will backfire if people find out, a leader of a party never involve himself in any kind of publicity that would hurt him, that is why he have a team for.

the question was did he involve in the talk with the general?, the answer was clearly no because he didn't, but but other member of his team might, maybe like suthep maybe.

there for he is not lying when asking a question.

why so tense you ask, he was hesitate to that answer, when ask was it him or was the party, quick thinking rush to answer the question, and the question was it him, he knew exactly what how to answer.
