IATA has a database that check-in staff can check. It gives all the requirements. If there are problems, just ask them to check with the database.

I wish to book a one way ticket from Melbourne to Bangkok, most probably with Thaiair. I hold a multi entry non immigrant visa for Thailand. Does anyone think I may have problems entering the country without proof of onward travel? Thanks for any advice.

I have a multi entry non immigrant o visa for Thailand. I will fly using a one way ticket back to Australia next week and wish to return to thailand on a one way ticket about 10 days later. My questions are:

1. Will I have a problem with the airline/immigration given i have a one way ticket from Australia to Thailand, bearing in mind i have a thai non immigrant visa?

Have non immigrant O multi - heading to Nong khai next week to do the border thing to activate another 3 months on my thai visa. Will be driving but will probably leave the car on the Thailand side. Basically I just want to exit Thailand then come right back to do so.

Any suggestions as to the best time to get to the border and if I should use some hired help to quicken the process or can I do everything relatively painlessly myself? Thanks for any suggs.

Basically my wife and 3 year old child do not hold a passports so I need to know if they can obtain a border pass at the border and if so can she stay overnight in Vientianne on this border pass. Anyone with first hand experience please advise.

I am heading to the border next month. Could anyone advise:

1. If I am able to pay for my Laos visa at the border and if so how much is it in US dollars...I am an aussie.

2. If my thai wife and child can cross into Laos with me...they have no passports....and if so what do they need to show.

3. How do we get from the border into the main area of the city. How much etc.

You travel to Mukdahan in Thailand and cross the bridge to Savannakhet in Laos. Don't know of any service as the last time it was popular they changed policy on visas and everyone had to go to Vientiane so became sleepy. You will need marriage certificate/copy and Thai wife ID card/home register copies. I would also take short note from her to show she wants visa issued and current relationship. Have her sign/date copies.

I have heard that Savannakhet is the place to go for a non immigrant O based on marriage to a thai. Can anyone advise if they have recently been there and exactly what is required.....what pages of the tabian ban and is the original id card of the wifee needed or does a copy suffice? Both sides of the id card or just the main side?

Does anyone know if one can obtain a non imm o visa thru one of these companies and, if so is there a limit to the number of single entry non imm o visas one can obtain in succession, given that they are single entry visas?
