  1. First of all he will do again vote buying, so he is not democratic elected.

Second he is a mass-murder and if people vote for him or not, he is still a mass-murder and must be blocked by all means to kill more people.

Is such defamation allowed on this forum? I will be surprised if it is.

Didn't you call Victor Bout the same thing?

I refer you to my previous post, find a quote from me about Victor Bout and quote it here, when you have not found it I expect you to be a man and admit your mistake and an apology would be nice. Jog on

  2. My gf renewed her passport at the minsistry of foreign affairs on chaeng wattana road, submitted one day and collected the next day if I remember rightly. Normally though when a new passport is issued they cut the corner off the old one making it invalid so I am not sure how you will manage to use the old one again.

killing 3000 people is mass-murder, or how would you call it? collateral damage, honest mistake?

Well unless he is convicted of such things then it is clear defamation. If I put in my avatar that you are a paedophile and a murderer without any proof will that be ok with you?

  5. We are thinking about buying a Toyota Pickup (new) for the company and registering it in the company name. There will be no named driver as such so no tax implication regarding it being a perk. We will buy it on finance. We feel this is better than leasing or renting as of course we will own the vehicle at the end so have some equity for what we have paid out. However we are unsure about implications regarding tax.

Does anyone know how we go about this, do we show as an asset, can we write the value down every month against tax (depreciation) etc.

    Any help will be appreciated

  6. if there are a few of you going its not worth paying the BTS and then taxi etc, you can take a taxi and get on the express way, then get off the express way and Cheang Wattana Road and head towards Don Meuang from there, tis will require a u turn to get to the MFA, will cost you less that 300 Baht from Sukhumvit.

This building is actually quite pleasant, they changed a visa for me once when the consul in Malaysia had give me the wrong visa and also my gf got her new passport there, very clean and airy inside

  7. I must be very lucky, I think in four years here maybe 1% have not wanted to use the meter, compared to my 3 years in Kuala Lumpur where that number jumps to 90%. I am sure it happens but I have my own rules, I never get in a taxi parked outside a hotel or tourist area, I always use a taxi that I have flagged down, I always speak a little Thai when I tell him where I want to go so he does not think I am tourist, this seems to work.

  8. Just had this now at kasikorn bank while I was opening an account, I was sat giving my details etc when a woman walked straight to the woman dealing with me asking her to update her pass book, she took the book and was about to do it, I took the book out of her hand, walked to the numbered ticket machine and got a number, handed it to the customer with her pass book and pointed her to the seats where I waited while waiting for my number to be called, both looked suitably embarrassed

  9. Thai Triumph garment workers seek German embassy intervention

BANGKOK, Aug 13 (TNA) – Nearly one thousand workers of a foreign-owned garment company in Samut Prakarn on Thursday submitted a letter to the German embassy asking its government to negotiate with their German employers to return laid off employees to work.

Led by Jitra Kochadech, an advisor to the Triumph International (Thailand) labour union, the action came after the layoff of 1,959 workers from Body Fashion (Thailand), a manufacturer and a distributor of women's lingerie and swimwear under the corporate umbrella of Triumph International (Thailand), with the sub-brands Sloggi, Bee Dees, and Triumph Sport.

Ms Jitra said that the layoff was unfair as the unemployed labourers, most of whom had worked for the company at least 20 years and were union members, were not officially informed of the matter in advance.

She said the workers received only short messages via cell phones in the night of June 28.

The company said it was operating at a loss and therefore was forced to reduce the number of its employees, but some union members, including herself, believed the firm wanted to relocate its production base to new location with lower labour costs and without the labour union, Ms Jitra said.

The embassy representative accepted the letter, but said the company was not a state-owned but owned by German nationals.

Ms Jitra said she and five colleagues would fly to Hong Kong Friday to negotiate with executives at the Triumph head office there.

OK now I can see their gripe but what they expect the German Government to do is mystifying. It has nothing to do with the German Government and is pretty much a pointless exercise. The company is making losses so people lose their jobs. Quite why the company is making losses is anyone's guess

  10. Knowing how useless the British Embassy is I would be quite happy for my staff to congregate outside there shouting comments rather than congregate outside my office or house. I am sure this has had no effect whatsoever on Triumphs decisions and will never have any effect on Triumphs decisions. This would be like getting a bad Tom Yam in a Thai restaurant in the UK and then protesting outside the Thai embassy, I am sure they would tell you it has nothing to do with them.

Am I missing something and Triumph is owned by the German Government?

  11. It's karma dude!

My post was tongue in cheek, I am sure you realise that. I believe you reap what you sow

So was mine. I recognized the subtle humor so I think we're on the same page. The drugging is dangerous but since he is still alive he can continue in "reaping" mode.

I read a book recently about British soldiers in Afghanistan, I think Sniper One but not too sure, it may have been another book about Paras in Afghanistan though that name escapes me. In the book they talk about the accepted homosexuality in Afganistan, always seeing men together and sadly also seeing men and policemen taking young boys away, it was known that this was for sex.

Sad state of affairs, lets not kid ourselves that the people of Afghanistan are naive. I just want to add that this was something I read and I have not encountered first hand and I am sure it does not apply to Afghans.

  12. I am amazed at the amount of vitriol and p1ss taking in this thread, you should all be ashamed.

here is a poor Afghani guy representing his country at this prestigious event, his country is in conflict so he relaxes a little when he comes here, he feels the need for female companionship so heads out in search of his soul mate that he can discuss the current conflict in his home country and the world economy. In his naivety he has no idea what type of place Nana Plaza is and is fooled into going there by a taxi driver, he enters the ladyboy bar in total innocence and does not notice the deep voices, the fake breasts and the bulge down below. he engages in conversation with someone who shares his passion for stoning adulterers and dislike of the US and feels the need to find somewhere quiet to share his horrific experiences with. They head back to the comfort of his hotel room so he can pray before continuing the conversation with this kindred spirit. being conscientious he visits his team mates to make sure they have also prayed and are safely back in their rooms with any kindred spirits they may have found. On returning to his room he is taken advantage of by his kindred spirit that he was hoping to convert to islam and marry. Imagine his horror when he came round and notice he has been robbed.

Shame on you all for mocking him and assuming that by 'female companionship' you all thought he meant sex with a bar girl. :D

    :D:)

  13. Did redscouse just try to protect the red gun nuts honor from...Koo82?

No he didn't, he has no affiliations in this dispute, however he likes to point out the hypocrisy from posters of both sides, if you choose to say something stupid and blinkered he will call you on it, the same as he will do for everyone. he hope that cleared that up :)

  14. Ah, yes, making deals to buy back the ones Thaksin bought earlier.

Same same. In most countries this is called horse trading for a coalition.

'This what you get for your next campaign war chest.'

Don't like it, but till more change happens this is how they do it.

are you saying its acceptable when the dems do it and not when TRT did it, or what's good for the goose is good for the ganda? however its worse when those nasty TRT did it than when the Dems did it.

It still seems you are happy to justify for one side whilst slating the other side for the same thing, a little bit of objectivity will go a long way. The fact is the Dems bought seats, whatever happened before, buying seats back etc is not relevant. If I hit your brother then you hit me, your act is still wrong.

For the unpteenth time, both are as bad as each other and any attempts to justify the actions of either side is......... well sad really
