  1. The water will reflect the rays of the sun, so if you are in or near the water, you will more easily get burned. On our last trip to Koh Samui, we took the very early morning flight, because it was several thousands of Baht cheaper than any of the later flights. We arrived in the hotel around 8 am and we knew that we couldn't check in that early, so after eating breakfast we decided to spend the next 4 hours resting on the beach in the shade of some trees. Since our sun protection was still in our suitcases, which we deposited in the reception, we didn't go out in the sun at all, but still my sensitive farang-skin got very red and painful, so I had to avoid the sun for the next few days. We will soon be travelling to Koh Samui on the very early morning flight again, but this time I will make sure to grab the sun protection from my suitcase, before heading to the beach chairs after breakfast  😀😀😀.

  2. I used to go to the hospital every 1 or 2 years  to get ear wax cleaned out of my ears. The last bill in my local private hospital was 1,600 Baht, which made me decide to buy an ear syringe and do it by myself. I fill the ear syringe with clean tempered water and do it during my shower, so it's easy to flush the ear wax down the drain. Ear syringes can be bought in the pharmacy or online for a few Baht, but before you start doing it, you better be 100% sure, that you don't have a different ear problem. The Hydrogen Peroxide solution didn't work for me, but if you should decide to try it, make sure that you do not use a stronger solution than 3%.

Thailand seeks to take and sell your car for this? I do not see how they can do this, especially when you might not own the car and simply loaned it to someone who drove and drank without your knowledge.

They are already doing it in some european countries - even with borrowed or leased cars. The owner can off course appeal the confiscation, if there is a good reason why the car should not be confiscated, like if someone has used the car without the owners permission - but then there could be added theft charges on top of the reckless driving charges. Even some very valuable supercars have been confiscated, where the owners have lost the appeal.

Been going to Samut Prakan office for 18 years, they have never asked for the bank letter the same day, including  when there last Monday. They have always accepted the bank letter dated the day before and once a few days before.

Maybe their requirements got lost in translation. Maybe they only meant, that the bank book update should be from the same day. But then I would have to visit the bank twice.

    Just to be clear.

You ask for a 3 month bank statement AND bank letter.

The bank letter simply shows owner of the account and balance at time of issue.

The statement shows balances over the 3 months to show financial compliance.

Both can be obtained prior to attending immigration. (validity 7 days)

Samut Prakan Immigration require the bank letter and statement to be done on the same day! We normally start out in the morning at Kasikorn Bank in Pak Nam (opens 8:30) a few km's from Immigration office. Then take a taxi to the amphur, which is in walking distance from the Immigration office. Construction is going on at the amphur in Samut Prakan, so it's a bit difficult to find the main entrance. Most people currently use the rear entrance where there is a small road. Walk up the stairs to 1st floor. The counter for marriage certificate is 1st counter on the right hand side.

Following completion of the massage session, the staff informed the couple of the charges. However, the couple reportedly began to dispute the pricing. In an effort to avoid confrontation, the parlour offered to reduce the charge to the basic package rate of 350 baht per person per hour.

So how much was the first amount the massage shop charged??

Originally, the Finance Ministry sought 35.7 billion baht in compensation from the former prime minister, attributing the losses directly to policies enacted during her administration. However, upon review, the Supreme Administrative Court decided to reduce this figure to 10 billion baht

Yingluck don't have that kind of money, so follow the money trail and get the money back from the puppet-masters!

Getting rid of the non Thai girls is a good thing. Ok, getting rid of the non Asian girls is a good thing. If I can't drive a tuk tuk in Thailand then these non Asian money makers shouldn't be allowed to apply their trade as well.

Because no Thai would ever consider to travel abroad and work illegally as a prostitute?
