  1. Hello,
I'm looking for a yoga teacher to help a beginner to start with yoga practice for flexibility and strength.  I'm trying to get back in shape and need guidance to avoid making initial mistakes that would need to be unlearned later.  I do require an instructor with several years of practice and teaching experience.  Please reach out at 0909931221 call, txt or line.

Just deleting the numbers/characters before the nationality isn't enough, you still get the "data not found" error message. The full workaround as detailed in the link in this post is as follows:

These kind of bugs seem to creep up periodically and randomly.  I remember not so long ago the nationality and province drop down lists stopped working all together, which precluded report submission.  Last year Captcha stopped working and wouldn't allow me to go to the second page.   After all these frustrations i switched to the 90 Day Reporter app that saves all these hassles and i only need to enter all my info one time.  After that it's all automatically handled.  I just get 2 notifications.  One that report was submitted and another that it was approved.  Then just follow the link to the official approval PDF and print it out.   No muss no fuss.

Just a data point and two questions:

I've been doing regular online 90-day reports to BKK for a long time now. Did my latest one online last Thursday, and the next day I got a confirmation email from Immigration saying my application had been approved. Great...

So today, I tried to log into the Immigration 90-day reporting site and found two things:

    1. What previously had been a long growing history of 7-8 prior online report listings in my profile had all disappeared, and the only entry now showing was my latest report this week -- even though my passport #, Immigration office, and all other details had not changed.

    2. When I first tried to log into the Immigration 90-day reporting website today to obtain and print out my confirmation letter, the website wouldn't seem to let me log-in with my passport number, DOB and country of nationality, the normal way I've always logged in in the past. I tried it several times and several ways (day/month/year or month/day/year), and it failed every time. Finally, I tried with the Reference number on my application sheet from last week, and then finally it let me into my profile.

So, any idea why the long history I had of prior 90 day reports has suddenly disappeared, even though nothing about my status and details has changed? And, why the method I've always used to log in -- passport number, DOB and nationality -- suddenly no longer seems to be working?

There might some confusion here.  Let me try to clear it up.  On the website there's no login per se.  There are just 2 ways to search for report submissions.  One is by the TRN number of the submission.  The other is by passport, nationality, and dob.  Once the submissions are approved or declined they are eventually archived and no longer appear in the search.   I'm not quite sure why previously you've seen several of your submissions.  Perhaps there were some changes to the site database recently.

  4. Hi Isac,

Below is a link to another option for online reporting.  It's a dedicated reporting mobile app that not only reports a single time but keeps track of the future reporting due dates and reports for you automatically.   You can set it up initially and as long as your passport, visa, and arrival card remain the same the app will submit the reports on schedule and once your report is approved will provide a link to download the official approval to keep with you.

I cannot believe it,had an email come through from Immigration,

the 90 days report has been approved ,just applied this morning

now that's what i call service, and the website is now https, just

used Slimjet browser, before if you did not use internet explorer

the page would jump all over, the last 5 times i tried online ,not

    approved.

Immigration are getting their act together, now if only you could

do your yearly extension online,or at very least make an appointment.

regards worgeordie   P,S. printed out receipt and next date page.

thanks for the report.  i just went in to try myself and can't get past captcha.  I keep typing it in and it keeps refusing to accept the code.  Feels like a psycho girlfriend giving me a silent treatment.   I tried on Chrome and FF.  At this point it's getting personal.  Anyway, i'll stick with the 90 Day Reporter app.  It's doesn't throw hissy fits, always friendly, doesn't leave me guessing, and works.

It looks a little dodgy to me. App just put on play store on May 9th so no reviews. It appears to cost 600 baht per report but there is also a 3600 baht number on the info about it.

    Have you tried it yet.

Yep.   It was the first time i was able to submit online.  Happy happy, joy joy.  600 baht is worth it to me to avoid the hassles and save time.  I did notice it was new so only purchased 1 credit to test it out.  So far so good.  Will buy the pack of 4 to save money next time.

Anybody know the number I can call to straighten this out? Or an Immigration officers number? Thx in advance

Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect

You should call your local immigration office to follow up.  There's no central call center.  Another reason for rejection could be the address mismatch.  To report online you should use the same address as your last report.  If it's different they'll reject it.  Lastly, sometimes they add the reason for the rejection in the remarks field (but unfortunately not in your case).  Good luck.

  9. It's been an ongoing saga ever since they launched that site.  I wonder whose cousin got the millions of baht in government contract to build that abomination.  I tried,  i really tried to submit online and avoid the waste of time traveling to the office in person but was never able to complete the whole process.  Quite funny to see how creative people had gotten here trying to convince that site to work.  But i think i found a better solution.  After the last frustrating experience i started really looking for alternatives and found this app.  Not only does it submit the first report for you and notifies you of the result but it also tracks the next due date and submits the next report for you automatically.  So if your visa is the same and you haven't left the country since the last report you don't need to do anything.  Perfect for forgetful people like myself.  Check it out:

  10. Also notice that there's a driveway literally a meter from where he stops that would be perfect for moving the bike out of the oncoming traffic he still parks it in the street.  This is such a typical behavior that makes me think that nobody here is aware that all effort should be made not to obstruct moving traffic when one is parking or even making a short stop.  i see it all the time.  cars and bikes just stop where they were to conduct their business and screw everybody behind them.  no consideration for anybody else whatsoever.  very tiring.

Agreed, incredible so many totally ignorant non-thais that lives or comes to Thailand not knowing anything (cos it's too hard for them to comprehend?) - yet fast commenting - about 2.500 yrs of buddhist culture and what's behind

Except that Thai Buddhism is as Buddhist as the imitation cheese product is cheesy.   This is a cocktail of imported Buddhism, pre-Buddhist animist beliefs, some Chinese ancestor warship thrown in, with the liberal amount of prosperity gospel sprinkled on top.

What I'd like to see is the Kurds being treated equally throughout the region, but that is probably quite a ways in the future.   Short of that, I'd like to see them have autonomy and control within Iraq, but that doesn't seem to be a realistic goal -- despite the autonomy that they have managed to get (most of it because of an extremely weak national gov't).   The last option, and I think the most popular is independence.

My slight hesitance on independence is because of the strong negative attitude and behavior of all of their neighbors and the fact that they are landlocked.   Turkey is turning off the spigot for oil exports and Iran is preventing flights into the airports.  They are still in a tenuous position with all their neighbors.

It would be nice to see a stable, democratic government within the region, but whether the Kurds can achieve that remains to be seen.   They certainly deserve a much stronger semblance of self-determination that they have had in the past.

Thanks for an interesting analysis.  I just read today that Syria had expressed willingness to negotiate with the Kurds.  Perhaps this is fortuitous timing for the new Kurdish state that will allow them to break their isolation by establishing trade and travel routes through Syria and thus bypass Turkish and Iranian blockades not to mention the hostile Iraq government.  Syria and Kurdistan could be allies from necessity.  And looks like Israel is welcoming as well.  It should be a rather simple choice for the West:  if theocratic Iran and Turkey are against it, they should be for it.
    Long live independent Kurdistan.

So 15-20% of the population of Turkey, 15-20 million people, is going to up sticks and move to the new Kurdistan?

I agree, it's now or never.

'they are "owed" a solid by US/Europe" '

I think if realpolitik dictates they be thrown to the wolves, thrown to the wolves they will be.

no,  it's self selection.  people who feel very strongly about independence will move.  the rest are ok being citizens of their current countries.  that's exactly what happened with the Jewish diaspora.  some moved to Israel, many stayed where they were without trying to create another Jewish state.

Was actually Barzani who invited the Turkish army to bomb the region. It's not always clear which enemy jas been targeted. Syrian and Turkish Kurds were not really amused with this coalition...

Moreover, not really published openly, but some Kurds are also fighting for ISIS and/or Al Nusra.

Armenian genocide in Turkey was also linked to the Kurds, who became later on separatists against the Turkish government.

I would think twice before giving the autonomy...

"Giving the autonomy"  - what an arrogant, imperialist things to say.  They don't need you to give them anything.  They have earned their homeland by fighting, and dying, and organizing the most stable region in Iraq since the ouster of Saddam.  Not to mention that they have been screwed over and over by the west for generations.  Kurds are the largest ethnic group without their own state.  It's time they got it.

As far as the alliance with Israel, that makes perfect sense.  Israel is surrounded by enemies in the region.  They'll be happy with having another secular, democratic ally.

And lastly the "afraid that the separatism will spread" is feeble minded logic that is nothing but excuse for defending the status quo.  When Kurdistan is formed it's unlikely that the Kurds in other parts of the region would try to create their own.  It's much more likely that they pack up and join their brothers and sisters in their new country, similar to what happened when Israel was formed.

The West will do well to welcome and support the new secular state in the middle East.  And <deleted> Turkey,  it's already a dictatorship with the theocratic flavor.  Very glad to hear that Merkel finally stopped the EU membership nonsense for it.

can't wait for them to clear the pavements in my area, it's time the less fortunate in society; disabled, elderly, infirm, blind,  were able to move around the city unhindered by the selfish, illegal few. i'm more than happy for street vendors to exist but in a legal and non-anti-social way.

amen to that.  the vast majority of these public space stealing stalls are selling the same ol' crap that's available in shops or organized markets.  the very few street food vendors that actually offer quality dishes will  bounce back because they produce actual value.  for the rest, good riddance.
