Are there places in Thailand where you can use a computer by the hour or minute? I will be taking thousands of large mega pixel photos and want to back them up on my portable hard drive that plugs into a USB port. I also want to back them up on DVDs and mail them home. I do not want to pack my laptop with me.
Thanks
Big cities, tourist areas are full of internet cafes even many small villages have them now. I doubt you will have much of a problem finding one.

Dude, the UK is IMPORTING both gas and oil. Find the UK production in the attached file, if you can find it, it is falling fast:
It is actually going back up in the December 08 report. Does not mean much anyway as if you look at the graphs it goes up and down all the time. It was up mid 08 but has dropped down towards the end of the year as less people needed to buy oil. You know economic crisis and all that.

Those Volvos are the ones that have caught fire for no reason I believe. Go Japanese.

They should both be weighted and 99.9% pure gold so easy to sell anywhere in Pattaya. Check the price of gold and then how much your coins weigh then see what they offer you.

Been a member for a few years. Good site. As for an invitation code, you should really only give them to your friends as if you give them to an asshol_e you do not know and he is <deleted> on the site it comes back on you.

The UK will pull though this with flying colors. The lowest ebb of the tide is the turn of the tide.
This is all too true. Every country goes thru a bad time and Britain has been there before. In the 1970's we were on the verge of Bankruptcy and had to go cap in hand to the IMF. We got thru that and two world wars and the great depression.

If it could buy happiness then all those rich people in Hollywood would not be seeing their shrinks everyday trying to sort their heads out and getting off their drug habit or thru their 4 divorce in 3 years.

Man City complete Bellamy signing
Wales international Bellamy has been the subject of repeated bids this month Striker Craig Bellamy has completed his transfer from West Ham to Manchester City for an undisclosed fee.
The Wales international, 29, underwent a medical earlier on Monday ahead of joining the eighth club of his career on a four-year contract.
He was left out of West Ham's squad for Sunday's 3-1 win over Fulham, having told club officials on Friday that he wanted to leave.
West Ham agreed a deal with City on Sunday. The fee is thought to be £14m.
Man City boss Mark Hughes, who managed Bellamy at Blackburn and during his time in charge of Wales, said: "I am delighted to be working with Craig once more.
"He is an outstanding player who provides us with qualities that we are slightly lacking.
"He has blistering pace, has bags of of enthusiasm and has a superb attitude to training. He will be a great addition to the squad."
Bellamy joined West Ham for £7.5m last season and has previously had spells at Norwich, Coventry, Newcastle, Celtic, Blackburn and Liverpool.
Hammers chief executive Scott Duxbury told BBC Sport that he had rejected six earlier bids for the player, thought to have been from City and Tottenham.
Bellamy originally wanted to join Spurs, but once West Ham made it clear they were not going to let him join their London rivals, he agreed to link up again with countryman Hughes.
He is expected to make his Man City debut at home to Newcastle on 28 January.
...........................................................................
Lot of cash for a guy who will probably be injured in a few weeks.

£14 million for Bellamy. That is a lot of money for an injury prone player.

Would people please try and desist from the tedious nesting of quotes only to add a two or three line comment.
Ooopps wrong guy. Sorry.

I can clearly assume you are Thai-right?!
Wrong.
Why are you talking about UK?Maybe because you mentioned it in your list of countries in your post.
-
Hmmm, so what you are saying is Thailand has the greatest economy in the world?! better then Japan, UK, China, etc
Every single country in the world has been affected by the crisis but not Thailand. Do not you think its little mad to even write this kind of statements?
What is Thai economy based on to make it so strong? HMMMM rice? lol
I did not say it has the greatest economy in the world. I said their economy has been performing well over the last few years. They have had growth rates of between 4-7 % over the last few years and the UK has had growth of less than 2%. They also do not have the debts of the UK and their banks are sounds unlike the UK. Maybe you have missed the news lately but the UK government has had to pour in and promise near £800 billion towards its banks, that makes your currency look like shit to outside investors. The Thais have yet to do anything remotely like that amount. As for writing what I did, No I do not think it is mad. Happens to be true.
Thailand- no problems at all!!!I would suggest you start reading the Thai newspapers as they have many problems but these have just started recently as the problems in the world are just starting to hit Thailand now.

It's not called "Central Festival"
It is.

I have been living in Thailand for past 5 years and now i am beyond puzzled.
Can anyone please explain how thai baht remain sooooo strong?
I understand that Thai baht is measured compared to USD, Fine, so AUD, POUND, EURO, YEN and all other currency's have lost against USD-but not the Thai baht.
What is keeping it strong? Sex tourism-NO, Tourism-NO, Investment-NO,Manufacturing-NO, Exports-NO
Even funnier, during the airport closure thai baht got stronger.
I have studied business, and consider myself a fairly smart man, but i am just unable to wrap my head around the stength of Thai Baht
Any ideas?
The economy of Thailand has been performing well over the last few years with a lot of growth. Other countries have not therefore their currency has taken a hit. Now the Thai economy has hit a brick wall with the current economic crisis in the world their currency will not be as strong but compared to other major currencies it should be ok as other countries economies are in a much worse state than Thailand.

It appears a loon has recently infiltrated ThaiVisa, some weird threads appearing here.
Best if members do not respond to these threads, other wise it will only encourage these sort of cranks.
It appears you have no sense of humour.

Earning respect does not put food on the table.
It can actually. If you have earned respect then you could be in for a job offer.

Does a Broadband router enable multiple computers to access to the ADSL ?
You can get a broadband modem that will give you access to one computer or you can buy a router that will services more computers. Best bet is to buy a wifi router that will give you internet access on many computers. Depends if the computers you want to work off the system have wifi cards as well.

Don't delete this. I haven't been convicted of any crimes. (Innocent until proven guilty, chai mai)
burglary 1st
3rd
4th
trespasing
malicious destruction of property
stalking
Only the trespasing, malicious, and 4th are even remotely legit. (Cop wants to fuc_k whore sister of my ex-girl friend. Probably providing her "protection" right now. Keep in mind I didn't touch anyone nor threaten.) Will they come and try to get me if I don't appear for the hearing and subsequent trial? Will it be possible to live a normal life in the rest of the world? (travel, work, school, etc...)
I understand that becuase these are my first criminal charges, I'll probably be able to make this "all go away" with a decent lawyer. But there are complicating issues. So I need to at least consider different options.
Think you are creating more problems by not going to court. How are you going to travel the world when they call in your passport because you have a warrant out for your arrest? Go home face the music and get it sorted out.
