  4. Two old ladies were talking about their grandchildren. The First old lady said, "Each year I send each of my grandchildren a card with a generous cheque inside. But I never hear from them nor do I receive a thank you message !" The second old lady replies. "I too send them a very generous cheque. I hear from them within a week after they receive it. In fact, they each pay me a personal visit." "Wow!, How come?” remarked the First. The Second one replied, "I don't sign the cheque."

  10. Imagine there are no suckers (as you refer to them) on this planet and all of humanity rejects all new innovations... How would a manufacturer test their new product in a real world scenario? It is the very same suckers or the guinea pigs that help the new innovation to be perfected for the smart users! In some instances been a sucker is an honour! ???? Dread the thought of no suckers existed amongst the early Homo sapiens! ????
  11. With new OS's, it is purely a matter of personal choice. I try a new version as soon as it is available, but with caution. With Windows 11, first I tried as a trial run by partitioning my HDD and having a dual-boot system. After a couple of months, I decided to upgrade and did. So far, I am very happy with the performance and the ONLY issue I have is that the Touch Pad is not working due to a driver incompatibility. So far, I can live with it! ... and this on a HP ProBook 4530s which is over 10 years old (RAM 8GB) So, in the end it is each individuals choice IMHO
  12. Here too they mention about this Windows 11 internet issue. I hope, these might help you to solve your problems. Please, do let us know if you tried any, and the result. https://thegeekpage.com/speed-up-slow-internet/
  13. A few suggestions, if you have not tried any before. Some fixes suggested here should be tried by experienced users only - e.g. updating/uninstalling/reinstalling NIC drivers.
  14. Yes, seems this is a known issue although I have not experienced it my self. Some users have mentioned that disabling IPv6 has solve the problem for them, while some others disagree.
